I've seen the character line ups from the shows production and one aspect of the design which may not be obvious from just watching the show is that each Turtle now has their own distinctive height and body type. In the previous seasons all three were the same model with only their cotume and skin colors to differentiate them from one another. For instance now Raph is taller and bigger than the others, Don is slimmer, Mikey shorter and rounder, and Leo's kind of the basic hero body type. Raph tallest, then Don, followed by Leo (although Leo and Don are pretty close, technically looks like Don is taller), last is Mikey. That's probably why you're getting the feeling that the heights are changing from one scene to another.

I thought for a bit that he was in a different scale, he's so tiny!

I dunno why this freaks me out so much.. it reminds me a bit of those Warner Brothers designs. That's just weird... I don't think I ever thought of them as being anything but physically identical. This is a revolutionary thought for me. And it must be throwing the animators for a loop, considering that, so far in FF, they've all appeared to be around the same height as they used to be, most of the time. It's those times where they're drastically different that it's right. Wow.

The stupid thing is, that they haven't updated the profiles on the 4Kids website, and it still claims they're all 5'2". :p
