For those who now don't sympathise with Timothy, what do you think will happen to him now?

As for Splinter's lesson. This isn't completely my theory since other people have had the same thought. But I had seen this possibility since early on in season one.

But I think one of the main reasons Donnie was given a crush on April (aside from it being funny) is that it was being set up to mirror the relationship between Hamato Yoshi/Teng Shen/ Oroku Saki.

The Private lesson between Donnie and Splinter was to show Splinter was starting to recognize his son was started down the Shredder's path and he is attempting to derail it from happening. And even at the end he is telling Donnie to respect April's decision and if she returns it's because she wants to.

Still Donnie is meant to play the Role of Hamato Yoshi or the Role of Oroku Saki is still up in the air.

I never considered this until I saw your post, but that makes total sense/you are right. Nice insight. Hopefully Splinter can guide Don down the right path, I don't want to see an evil Donnie!

One of the best episodes to date. I was laughing so hard when Donnie fell into the garbage container after he saw April with Casey. And then he made that googly-bug eyes.

The training session with Splinter was splendid as well.

And then the turtles were beating the ever loving crap out of Timothy. Things just get better and better.

Die already maybe? I never sympathize him. No one in the show ever does either, except Donnie (due to his responsibility for taking him as his disciple).

Not only that Timothy made poor judgments and stupid decisions (joining the Foot, wanting to be mutated eventhough he was warned countless times of the danger, etc), this time he decided to make enemy with the people who tried to help cure him. That is the last straw to me, traitors should be dealt swiftly, ruthlessly, mercilessly.

At least he's crystallized now and will not be a trouble for a long time. I was hoping for them to crush him to pieces and be done with it, but eh. Stay frosty, ugly.

Not like Mikey and Raph were particularly innocent either coupled with him losing his sentience, one could say MM's attack on them was somewhat justified in his degrading mind at least.

I liked how it was Raph comforting Donnie at the end. I expected it to be Leo, but am very glad the writer's having Raph in this role.

It's nice. I kinda feel like Raph. Not an ounce of care about Tim but feeling sorry for Donnie cause he's feeling sorry.

You know after thinking over this all again and reading your posts it'd be a good time with April so angry at the turtles for Karai or the foot to be watching and see how skilled she is and try and get her to join their side.
I think it'd make for an interesting story.
At least as far as Splinter is concerned having not only his daughter be with Shredder but his last student to join him as well.
But I highly doubt they will do this.

... why would they even want her as a Foot member?

I'll understand if they want someone as talented and strong like Leonardo (Dark Leo in 2k3 and IDW comic), but a girl who recently started ninja training...? Wat. She wouldn't even last a real battle with Karai.

I know Mutagen Man technically betrayed the turtles...brutally, but still, you act like Timothy just killed Splinter. Timothy was once a human being, and you want him road killed because you don't like him.

Explain to me why you don't like Timothy?

Didn't work with Snakeweed.

Doubt it'll work with Mutagen Man. He'll melt and re-absorb into himself.

Yeah, but I don't think Karai really liked April, so I can't see Karai recruiting her to the Foot. I think she'll try and capture April to try and get her to tell her where the Turtles live or something like that.

She's good and kicked the sh1t out of Karai and how many chances has Shredder given her or his other idiots?
Simply because they know it would hurt Splinter and the turtles.

One other thing that was bugging me in that episode is that she obviously stopped her training with Splinter but she still has the fan and was fighting Mutagen Man with it and said at the start of the episode she's going to have a new start and pretend to be a normal girl but she still has the fan, I would of thought she would have given the fan back to Splinter.
