I'm not sure what "Wave 4" technically consists of, but the upcoming Super Mario characters went up for preorder a week ago. Preorders can definitely sell out, immediately, and that is scary, but I've only heard of that happening with store exclusives.

I just check reddit.com/r/amiibo occasionally.

When people speak of the waves they're generally talking about the Smash line. Wave 4 consists of Robin, Lucina, Charizard, Ness, Wario and Pac-Man.

I have a feeling the Super Mario line will be far less popular and also far easier to find. The only preorder to have sold out in that line at all is Toad, but he keeps coming back up every few days at different retailers, so anyone who wants to get in on him probably already has. I preordered him, but I have zero interest in the rest of the Super Mario line of Amiibo.

Wave 4 is going to be pain for me. I want everything except Robin and Lucina and I'll be desperate for Pac-Man if I don't get a preorder on him. And my brother wants Robin.

I'm not very concerned about the Mario line, even Toad, but I do want most of them. I'll probably periodically grab them when I visit GameStop, like I have been the commons.

I finally found regular Link yesterday and almost picked him up, had him in my cart and everything... but my laptop's been slowly going south and I really should save for that. Plus I did get Toon Link and apparently he functions the same in Hyrule Warriors.

I'm gonna get 'em all 'cause they're awesome. I have 10 so far, to me they're worth it just because they look awesome, even without all the in-game bonuses they provide.

I'm one of those that would just rather have a video game for the price of what I would spend for 3 or 4 amiibos.

I recently bought a few of the 3-inch "World of Nintendo" figures from Target for about $3 each, and I'm pretty happy with those.

I'd love if they keep putting out new figures in those lines like Zelda or Punch-Out themed toys.

Still, I do hope all the amiibo craze helps Nintendo's bottom line.

I need Ness, Robin and Lucina. In that order. The others of Wave 4 are going to be a lot easier to get, and are less desirable to me personally.

Of course, if I can just order them all in one go I'll do it. Hoping amazon or target puts them up very soon.

i didn't pre-order meta knight and wish that i had. best buy opened up pre-orders again yesterday afternoon but I was sleeping
