Raph: Oh, man, the fridge got wrecked. All that booze!

*Kali shot him a dirty look and started setting some things upright*

*don scrunched his face as the last of the glass was removed from the side of his thigh. Bandages were scattered all down the side of Don's leg, both arms were wrapped, making him look like a sad excuse for a mummy...*

Sp: You should heal within a few days, but i do not want you working in your laboratory for a few days.

Don: But Sensei....

Sp: It is just to allow you to heal, before anything more can happen to you...

Don: *slumps a lil'* Okay, Master.

Sp: *smirks* It surprises me sometimes how you manage to cause such 'accidents' and never get seriously hurt. You have much luck on your side, my son.

No kidding....
*Machias finished cleaning up the station, throwing away the small pile of glass that had been extracted from don's leg.*

I've seen more glass at an antique store...

Sp: *shakes his head, smiling lightly* You may go Donatello, but no laboratory work for a day or two.

Hey, Donnie. You feelin' okay? I heard the explosion, and I saw the lab...well, I kinda freaked for a sec, there.

Don: Well, despite how I feel, *Glances back at Machias* she seems to think I'm not bad off.

*Grin* Heh. Glad to hear it. So where ya headed off to now?

Don: Well, I've got some of my more important work in my safe, and that should have survived the blast. But it'll still take me awhile to get things up and running again.

Mike: Don't worry, we'll have this place tip top in no time. *drops the empty glass container he's holding* Oops.

Poor Don, all his stuff he's worked so hard on is destroyed...

Sp: Yes, i can tell he is very upset about his losses...

No kidding...I wish we could do something to cheer him up. Something we Won't get in possible trouble for doing...

*Splinter smirks, and then takes on a thoughtful look.*

Sp: *says to himself* What day is his hatching day...? *Machias looks at Splinter questioningly.*

Hatching day?

Sp: I am sorry, I should explain...When the turtles were young, I allowed them to choose their own special day to celebrate their hatching or birthday. Leonardo's was in January, Raphael's in March, and Michaelangelo's in June. If i am not mistaken, Donatello decided on a day in late April.

Oh, we could do something for him for his birthday!

Sp: *smirks at Machias's enthusiam* I believe his brother's have been doing some planning for him recently, as have i. Possibly, you could all work together and do something for him.

oh, good idea, Sensei! I'll talk to the others when they come back up!
