I really liked it. I liked Donnie and Mike covering each other's mouth when they saw the Utroms take off their skins for the first time.

Lots of good moments in this episode.

And Don jumping in front of the blast to save Splinter...! He took quite a hit there. *sniff* He's so brave...

Well, they had blasters in the original comics also. And the Turtles did invade their building. But I'm betting that the laser blasts were non-lethal, probably some sort of stun weapons. Like the 'night sticks'.

I thought that was a weird closure. It's just going straight into Season 2 without any closure... who cares. The pink dudes were awesome!

Nope. But they will get reunited in Episode #6 of Season 2, which is the first episode of the 3-parter that reveals everything that's been a mystery all season. The Utroms origins, Shredder's origins, and the Turtles origins. "Secret Origins - Parts 1-3"

I loved the elevator part.....Donny and Mikey kept trying each floor and they looked alike.

I also saw a commercial for Monster Turtle sweepstakes.....it showed the TMNT monster truck.

I really hope they keep putting those 'Profiles' on the upcoming DVD's. Because the one with Baxter talking about the 'Razor Jet' kicked arse. Especially when it showed really good images of the 'Utrom Body Suit Artifact' on a computer display. That was sweet.

You're in my head again Splints ^.^ Anyhoo...I thought it'd be awesome if they did a whole bunch of profiles together in the upcoming DVDs now that there's no more videogame stuff they should be bothering with. Hopefully they'll give us some fresh extra features as well instead of the repeated ones from the first 4 disks. They /should/ do something diffrent as they made it seem that there'd be no more intrerviews with Laird as well as the video game being out, and (it doesn't mean much, but) the 'Leo' part of the set seems to be done with... If I'm right there the next DVD should start a pic of Raphael and if the TMNT sets are anything like most anime sets, that's supposed to mark a 'saga' of the series. All that aside...I'll just sum what I said up with... "PLEASE let there be some NEW content!"

Hehe! Don and Mike went off together again in the elevator scene! We should start making a list of the Don/Mike scenes and see how many we come up with. We should also start a Leo/Raph arguement/battle list and see how many we get before losing track!

Oooh, Casey and April got out okay, they should go celebrate together. Hehe, but of course that won't happen. April will be far too worried about the guys and will devote her entire time thinking about them and fretting whether they'll come back or not. Poor guys, poor April....poor Casey!

The Utroms were everything I expected...except for their voices. They reminded me of something, hmm...voices I heard from another show but now I can't remember what. No, I didn't think they resemble much of Krang at all. They looked a little like those gel creatures you fight on Final Fantasy 2 while you're on the moon. Weird little mucasey things! Yeah, prolly spelled that wrong, too!

*gasped when Don got hit by one of those little buggers* When I saw Don go flying backwards into the Transmat Device room, I was like, "Nooooo!" Oh, he looked in pain! Mean things, they are! I don't remember them being so evil in the comics. I'll have to look again just to double check.

The image that stuck out in my mind from the comic was of Raph up against Splinter's glass jar, tears in his eyes and screaming, "Splinter! Noooo!!!!" I was waiting to see something like that in this ep, but it never happened. It was more like they stood agape and tried to figure out how to rescue him. Poor Don looked so stumped, I really felt bad for him in that scene.

When's season two?! Obviously not next week, there were no upcoming scenes. I accidently taped a smidget of "The Cramp Twins" opening title. Well, it'll give us some time to rest up and perhaps during the repeat weeks, I'll get to tape "Return to New York" part one! Stupid sports pre-empted the show and aired it at 5:30 a.m.

K, so I thought this ep was just as good as part one, or the follow-up to the last part before we're launched into space! Can't wait! Can't wait!

The chemistry of the Turtles really shined in this this episode. Although they don't normally get along very well, Raphael and Leonardo can work together when they want. Mike and Don, once again, are a fantastic duo. They play off of each other so well. Some of what I saw of them today reminded me of the "Pork Rind? Pork Rind" scene of the first movie. Classic stuff. Casey, although playing a small part today, showed how valuable asset he is to the team. You can sense the feelings between him and April to grow just a little. As always, the animation and action sequences were top-notch. I really liked the seen where the Turtles were zapped to the other dimension. That looked really cool.

I did have a few complaints with the episode though. I know the Utroms were just introduced in this episode, but I'm just not really sure where the series is going with them. How, after warning each other to not fire their blasters for the danger of blowing up the lab, do they manage to destroy practically everything in the room??? I know they are supposed to be a super-intelligent race, but that just seemed too dumb on their part. That would have been a Bebop / Rocksteady kind of move. And why didn't the Utroms realize that the Turtles were just there to rescue Splinter. For the most part, the Turtles weren't causing them any harm. Most of the episode, the Turtles were running from the Utroms. They didn't actually fight them until they were cornered. Why didn't Utroms just stop and say, "Hey, we don't want to fight. We know you're here for your master. Let's all calm down and work this out." That just seemed like it would have made more sense to me, but then again the Turtles wouldn't have been zapped to another dimension in that case, so season two wouldn't have been that spectacular.

All in all, this episode was awesome, and I was sad it went off. I wish it just could have kept going. Of course, I say that about most of the episodes. I cannot wait for season two. Fugitoid, Triceratons, Leatherhead....woo hoo!!!

It's already been confirmed that Season 2 will start next week. Though I think we'll get some repeats after the 5-episode 'Turtles in Space' arc. And then the fun begins with, 'Secret Origins'

The last episode of a season is always a good one. I like the parts when Casey thinks he can take down the Guards with some Street Fighting moves. And the Stunning Stick Weapons.

Casey: This thing is better than my BaseBall Bat.

I like the whole Door Maze and Elevator Floors.

Mikey: Didn't we just do this part?
Don: Try another one.

We've always seen a Utrom Body Suit as an Artifact at Foot HQ well now we see an active version of it. The Utroms are just how I would picture them as Live Brains with IQ.

The part with the whole alien like genetics room was pretty hightech.
Splinter in a capsole I thought there was going to be some Rat Operations in this episode but I guess wrong.

Casey & April escaped in a Hover Platform. It'll be awhile until they find out about where their friends are.

And the final part with the turtle teleporting to another world. Even Mr. Mortu didn't expect it to happen.

I give this episode 5 out of 5 stars for best of the last. But I'm not sure if S2 will start next week. Not unless some know for sure if it'll be repeats or new ones. If news ones I'm ready for them. If repeats, I can go with that. There's only one episode I didn't get a chance to see anyway.

Either way is find with me.
