Thanks fer the heads-up, babe. Mike replied on the psychic link Randi has established between the two.

Truth be told, though, the creature wasn't really posing much of a challenge to the ninja. He had been trained --- extensively --- to battle in darkness, and his opponent was obviously injured. The green, oozing acid almost glowed in the dark surroundings. It made the beast a rather easy target.

WHACK!! KRACK!! WHACKK!!

Michelangelo's steel nunchaku battered against the creature's tough hide, causing various indentations and bruises all over its exterior. "Don't hafta worry about acid blood --- if'n I'm not gonna gash you open, dude."

This was one battle in which Mike's choice of weaponry was to his advantage. He swung his right nunchaku up in an upward arch and uppercutted the creature right under its jaw. It hurtled upward and its head slammed into the sewer ceiling above. Some debris toppled on top of it.

It wasn't moving...

By this time, Randi had reached him. Seeing the fallen creature, she wanted to ensure that it was dead. "Stand back." She ordered, aiming a pistol at it. It didn't matter what it was to her, it had already killed one innocent man, then had tried to attack both her and... wait a minute...

Bruises and dents galor from Michaelangelo, but no bullet wounds; that could mean only one of two things... either way, it was bad.

"We have a problem."

As Mars walked down the sewer, she froze at the sound of gunshots. "Ah, shell." She said, as she then backed away slightly, shook her head and turned the corner, literally running into Leo. "OOMPH!" She grunted, as the two hit the ground. "...well...fancy meeting you here, bro.

Casey walked up behind Leo. "I thought you might want help." He shrugged.

"Hey! Don't forget ME! You could use all the help in the world, Leo! Heh!" he said, cracking his knuckles.

"And you could use a vacation..." Mars giggled to her brother, avoiding a playful swing. "...seriously. You've got to go see that new Spiderman movie with me! It is just too awesome for me to describe!"

"That's... not the same one I shot at." She replied sullenly, "That means there might be more." And what she had seen from her vision, that wasn't good. "I need to find the man hole I came in at -- that's most likely the best place to start..."

"Ummmm.... ok." Michelangelo was still a bit confused in regards to the situation, but decided to go with Randi. If there were more of these creatures about, then there could be trouble...

She turned and walked away from the pile of debris along with Mikey until she felt they were a safe distance away from any splattering. Then she turned and shot it once, in the head.

"Sorry." She said to Mike, "Had to make double sure... lets go." She then started down the tunnel again, her body tense and ready to shoot at anything that might jump out of the shadows.

Mike nodded. He didn't like killing something as helpless as that creature was under the debris, but he knew it had to be done. Who knows how many people that things had taken??

To Mike's comment, all he got in reply was a low moaning growl as Randi continued quickly down the sewer tunnel until they reached the intersection near where they had met the werewolf. She quickly turned down it and started towards a ladder several yards away.

When she reached the ladder, she touched it, wondering if she'd get even a glimpse of her previous vision. Nothing.

"Somewhere around here..." She muttered, "We should find a... never mind, just keep a look out."

Suddenly Raph spoke up and said, "Uh, hey guys. I hate to spoil your fun and all but, what...the shell...is THAT?!"

He pointed to the night sky at what seemed to be a flying object heading straight towards them.

"It looks like something from a science fiction movie! Casey, you're into that sorta thing. Do you have any idea what that could be? Anybody?"
