*Don frowned, but then his expression softened into a crooked grin*
Don: It was a lot of work, but I guess you're right. I can make up for it somehow.
*He paused*
Don: Hmm... I'm always happy to receive any extra help. Sure, I'll make you my lab assistant. You're always down there bothering me, anyway.
Oh fine, I see how it is...
*Don burst out laughing*

*Don continued eating his meal in a far happier mood. Azure was glad that Don was starting to feel better, and he knew that the brainiac's b'day party would make him even happier. Azure couldn't wait to iron out the details with Machias. He looked up and noticed Raph eyeing him*

No, not usually. Sometimes I'm as grumpy as you are.

~I'm leaving on a trip to visit my Grandma and Mom tomorrow. I'll be gone through the 2nd, and although I will have net access I don't anticipate posting very often...so SC is going on a trip. Don't worry, you guys will occasionally hear about her antics if you turn on the news every once in a while.

No thanks Azure. I just wanted to apologize to everyone for the mess I inadvertently caused.

Splinter: There is no need for you to apologize. Although you did provide the alchohol, you are not the one who misused it.

*Skeletoncrew shifted her weight and rubbed the back of her neck, looking around the room before looking Splinter in the eye again.*

Well--the fact is that I was the one who suggested that Mike's Hard Lemonade could be easily mistaken for a non-alchoholic beverage. I have no excuse for doing so. I knew what Raphael was planning, and I gave him the means to do so. I knew that I shouldn't, but I did anyway. I'm afraid I just have these urges to cause trouble, and while I normally control them...I don't always.

Anyway, I've decided that its time for me to get away for a while. There's far too much chaos around here without me contributing to it. The hearse is all packed and ready to go. So I'll see you all again in a week or so!

She knew that even if she hadnt mentioned the lemonade to the guys, they would have found eventually anyways. ~Lesee, I'll get important details from Splinter like dates, Don's favorite stuff, stuff like that. Me and Mike can make the cake...Maybe we can have someone who ISNT on restriction go and get decorations. Well, maybe i can convince Splinter to let me and Leo off restriction just while we're trying to get stuff ready for this...Ooh, this is gonna be so much fun! I cant wait to see don's face when we surprise him!~

Sp: Do not worry, child, you are not in trouble with me. *he listened again, and returned his glance to saisei.* I noticed that you and donatello are becoming rather close friends...and i merely wondered if you could be of some assistance for us.
You see, Donatello's birthday is coming up, and the others are planning to do something special for him, to cheer him a bit after his unfortunate occurance in his laboratory.
If one could try to 'pull' some information from him...about things he has had his heart on getting for a while...perhaps we could surprise him with some of those things. *smiles again* Would you like to join us in our little 'mission'?
