Here is the tumblr post

http://tmnt-central.tumblr.com/post/...ght-cassie0720

Notice the mini turtle figures also shown, many of us pre-ordered those a while back (i ordered a whole box here)

I wonder if it's the same company?

I'm sure more info will come out soon

The ball joints used on them looks very much like the Revoltech joints.

Edit: someone confirms it

YEEES!

It's so awesome seeing TMNT being this popular in parts of asia, especially Japan

Japan is known for making some of the best toys around, we are in for some great times!

They appear to be distinct from the mini figures that have already been shown. They have interchangeable expression heads and are, obviously, much more 'show accurate' than other figures we've seen so far. I know nothing else about them so far.
Yeah those were from the celebration in Japan.

Unfortunately it doesn't say what kind they are, but I think those are from this.

the twitter pics in case they get removed or something

By the way... the line in the head (clearly seen on leo in the top pic), I don't know that much about revoltech (I do own a lot of Figma though), but I read that they probably have movable eyes, the line is there because there is a piece inside the head that accommodates that... well also because the faces are swappable

Look closely at Mikey... He has his freckles! Yay!

I wonder if Recoltech will get license to do more TMNT figures and maybe from different styles, like the movie turtles as Revoltech do have a movie character figures like Aliens, Gamera, predator and The skeleton from Jason and the Argonauts.

I know Woody from Toy Story have articulated eyes, and Naked Snake from Metal Gear Solid have a jointed eye, so it's possible these as well will have articulated eyes. Their heads are big enough to incorporate that, and we can get white eyes for action poses and regular eyes looking whatever direction we want.

Yesssss! I don't expect them to be cheap, they'll likely be $30+ but I'll get them all. I'll be keeping an eye on http://amiami.com/ and BBTS.

amiami is my preferred as well! I have an order shipping from them next month and a few more later this year. They are fantastic. Been using them for a few years.

Note though... if you order from them and cancel your order they could ban you... so be careful guys, they are a great retailer but I've heard stories about that, so make sure you really want something if you order it.

I will pre-order these immediately!

I think we should start a thread for Japanese toys since it's starting to become a thing.

Yes! I highly recommend Amiami! I've cancelled through them once because I found a figure cheaper at NYCC one year. But I wouldn't cancel again to be safe. Their prices are tough to beat as they're often cheaper than most other stores like Crunchyroll and GoodSmile. You're also guaranteed legit products, so there's no concerns about bootlegs.

I do recommend getting EMS shipping if you go that route. While yeah, it's pricey, it's tough to beat getting a box of toys from Tokyo in 2-3 days. I've spent a stupid amount of money there and I have a few months where my pre-order cost is going to be depressing, but it's okay.

Aweeeeeeesome

I love those! I wish playmates could put as much effort into them, even if they had to raise the price.
