Stop pretending that's true. You folks keep throwing blanket statements over the entire fan base when it's only so for a small handful.

I usually go for Karai. She's my favorite character to use.
Karai's my number two, but for some reason, I find myself leaning toward Foot Ninja as my main.

Finally finished Survival Mode with Karai and the Foot Ninja and unlocked their alternate outfits. I'm still dumbfounded as to why they had to use the Karai-bot colors instead of her normal colors.

BTW, ever notice how there is so much black in the game? Karai, Foot Ninja, Shredder, Nightwatcher, Casey, Utrominator. It's like Goth TMNT- Crawling in their Shells.

No. That's entirely wrong, and I would have thought someone like you could see that. The small handful are the ones that love the franchise, but hate how poor everything it spawns has been for years.

That's exactly what I said. The small handful are the ones that are fapping over everything with the name attached, whereas the majority are jaded. Yet there is constant accusations that the only reason that anybody likes a certain TMNT related media is because of the fact that it's TMNT-related. Smash-Up isn't even good as a TMNT game, because of all of the missed opportunities they made with the characters and story. To simply put it, Smash-Up fails in the license area. However, I feel it is decent as a fighting game, and ranks at least in my top 50 (maybe even top 40).

To differ in opinion is okay. There are actual fans of the series that have expressed their disappointment for Smash-Up's gameplay. It's when you randomly drop in to insult or taunt those that like it, that is ridiculous. I don't flood the 360 thread with how much I despise Halo or spam the threads about the 3D Zelda games with how boring I find them. It's just plain stupid to do that.

No, it's probably because you couldn't come up with a valid reason to hate them other than the fact that you're "not into it" or whatever the excuse would be.

Also, there's a huge f*cking difference between a game that isn't good, and a game you simply don't like.

I've tried making that point with films and no one listens.

There are plenty of problems with the game but you've failed to list any. This means you haven't even played it yourself. You never post outside general so your obviously here to pick fights with people.

Good thing with have psychics like Tothenines and Spitfire here to tell everyone exactly what we're thinking when we post.

I played it and I hated it. I don't have to write a damn wall of text just to make some of you happy.

Peanut is just a troll that craves attention and feels his opinion is superior to others.

This game is everything I expected it to be, a Brawl like game with the TMNT license. I really don't think anyone was expecting this to be better than Brawl. Anyone who was expecting that was delirious. Look at Tournament Fighters, its no Street Fighter yet the fandom likes it because its a decent fighter with the characters they love. Arkham Asylum is a great game, take the batman license and it would not be as great since the mood of the license really set the game apart that any other generic character would have made it a good game but not excellent as Batman did.

If you look at reviews for the game its a decent game. Only reason the fandom and casual tmnt fans are pissed because of the way Ubisoft hyped the game up as being the ultimate tmnt wet dream made into a game character/story wise. And they didn't deliver, they just gave you basic characters. Counting Melee has more characters and Brawl puts it to shame didn't help things. Overall when the anger over that passes the fans will find it to be a fun game.

Like I said... Ubisoft tricked us with clever wording. Yes the game does feature stuff from the Turtles throughout their years, including original Eastman/Laird concept art, 2007 movie art and 80's TMNT/Back to the Sewers art. They just didn't do it in terms of the actual fighting rostor.

That's what it really boils down to in my opinion. The way they said things in their videos, it seemed like we were going to have a good chance to get anything from Bebop and Rocksteady to 2k3 Baxter Stockman and even a chance of good old Armaggon. Personally, I don't/didn't expect ground breaking game play. It would be more of a newer fighting game that would allow me to play from a new system instead of playing an emulator. I might pick up the PS2 version.

Yes, because I've always harped on games that I've never played. TOTALLY TRUE! Shut the f*ck up. I'm not you. I don't go to GameFAQs and troll games I've never played before, as I've seen on several occasions, and even brought to the attention of this forum once.

And you suck the **** of this franchise like you need it to live. Anyone who's genuinely happy with this game, as your first sentence implies, is a sad person.

If im not mistaken, one of the video interviews i saw someone said "as far as the roster is concerned we've basically covered issues 1-10 of the original comics". THAT hyped me up something awful. Well BOO UBISOFT. This game only keeps my attention because of the TMNT theme. As far as the controls are concerned its got sloppy hit detection, you can't change your direction after you jump (when i say that i mean the direction of your fist or kick) and when you get knocked down its a bitch to get back up. I HATE RABBIDS. Now that ive gotten that off my chest, I also think they could've made the game longer overall. I really wish the alternative outfits were 80's style.. whatever that may be.. comics or cartoon. My biggest gripe is that this game is to celebrate 25 years of teenage mutant ninja turtles yet it focuses almost entirely on TMNT... and i dont know about you guys but most of the discussions ive seen in here, have shown it to be a less favorable branch of the boys in green. Overall the game isnt awful but in comparison to the gameplay of smash it fails.. of course that hasnt stopped me from playing it 24/7 since i got it because i get a hardon everytime i get something new from the turtles in my hands

Thanks, Powder. You proved my point at least twice in your post. It's good to hear at least one fan admit it.

For this with the Wii version, this code unlocks the Ninja Rabbid AND the Technodrome stage.
Up,Up,Down,Down,Down,Right,Up,Left,Right,Left: at Bonus content screen.

Doesn't work for the PS2... another disappointment.. NO Technodrome stage???

Is that the best rebuttal you can come up with to my post? Flaming me and cussing. You just prove my points.

Its especially ironic since I'm one of the most casual fans on this board. I'm not a regular poster, I'm haven't watched half of the OT, I've only seen a little bit of the NT, I've never read any of the Mirage comics and I didn't like the issues of Archie that I read.

Its a decent game, most reviewers back that up all the hate the game is getting is because of the lacking character roster which is mostly their fault for hyping it up in the first place. No one ever expects a licensed game to be the next Metal Gear or Mario. But hell you should know better because you are a "HARDKORE GAMER"

Grow up, you are nothing but a troll.
