Actually its quite possible, since Rob is known for funny characters. The writers might make Don say wise-cracks because of the voice actor.

That and with Paulsen in the role, I could see them making Donatello a little bit of a smart-alec.

You know, for the OT series, at some points, Donny could be a bit of a smart alleck. Seems it would suit his character. Either way, I am curious how his character will be portrayed since Rob is going to voice him. I'm hoping for a smart-allecky Donny now.

Having been an especially massive fan of the second film in my childhood, I've always favoured Don having a playful side himself - though far more sophisticated than Michelangelo's. I think that Don and Mikey made a great team and play off of each other well in combat (though that's maybe just a blunt weapons thing). Besides that they're often "paired" in the first two films and 2003 series, they're the respective favourite Turtles between myself and my younger brother (who has thankfully shared in my Turtle obsession as we grew up together n' junk). This likely fuels my preference for Mike and Donnie being portrayed as best friends (bros).

*Sigh* Waiting....waiting...and some more waiting. GOLLY GEE WILIKERS BATMAN! How much more waiting is there left to go! I feel like we've been waiting for this show's premiere for an eternity and three minutes! It's like we are stuck in the waiting room of a doctor's office and every time we go up and ask the receptionist, "Um, so what's going on back there?" or "Is the doctor going to see us?" and the ever popular "How much longer?"
Then the receptionist smiles and replies, "Don't worry he will see you soon. Now why don't you take a seat over there."
You said the same thing 5 HOURS ago lady! Please at least give me some information on the show -er- I mean on what's taking the doctor such a long time!

.....Great, all this waiting has driven me officially crazy.

We got a sh*tload of screen caps a few days ago, & confirmation that it airs in September like, yesterday. Calm down and pay atttention.

We also have confirmation of a possible sizzle reel at the end of March. Its probably going to be what they showed at the Playmates event though

I honestly think he's going to be, alongside Mikey. Look at every picture Donnie...he looks aloof and uber-geeky. I think they are going to milk his nerdiness for all it's worth. LIKE CHUCKY FINSTER. Ok ok, Chucky wasn't really nerdy like Don, but you know...
