The conventional answer is that female action figures don't sell, but that just makes one wonder why April was part of the debut line.

Come to think of it, I'd like a new April with more articulation and a tessen.

Nah, no mystery. Playmates are a totally inept toy company who'd rather pump out useless crap than give us a figure of a major TMNT character.

It's probably for the best anyway, since any Karai figure from Playmates will be an under-articulated piece of sh*t.

April's like a staple for almost every TMNT line (besides Next Mutation).

For all we know Playmates is having trouble making a Karai that doesn't look like a reject Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys character.

hey dude the only new news is that now some of the 2014 movie figures are available on ebay they have leo mikey and donny not sure if they got raph tho but i really want them but i cant afford them rite now the donny is already up to like $80 check it out

Those are factory errors, are they not?

They are actually very well sculpted, they almost don't look like Playmates figures.

Anyway...here's something that actually contributes to this thread...

Along with the Bebop and Rocksteady design reveal (see the specific thread for it and/or the season two info thread), Playmates' site has been updated with four new figures...Slash, Newtralizer, Dojo Splinter and Rahzar, which means they should either be out now or very, very soon. It also seems like the Robotic Foot Soldier has been pushed back so that they can release Rahzar instead, since he's nowhere to be seen on the site. Keep a look out, everyone!

I must say, it looks like a pretty weak wave with no new vehicles or anything other than the four figures to collect. The last wave had four figures, the four Z-line play sets, and two new vehicles...

Hopefully these figures will be of better quality, unlike last wave where Mutagen Man had poor articulation and paint, and even sported a continuity error on his back, KirbyBat has very low articulation, and Squirrelanoid has a missed opportunity.

hahaha haven't heard that one in forever. i have always liked "a comma makes a big difference between the sentences 'hey lets eat, grandma' and 'hey lets eat grandma'".

the more and more this toyline runs i find myself liking the toys more and more. still don't think i will pony up the cash to buy any for my collection due to spacing issues but i don't find them as McDonald toyish as i use to.
