I hate chemistry too, but I survived. The important thing is to think positively. If you keep thinking that you can't do it, then you won't be able to. I never gave up, and I pulled off a decent grade. Be persistent.

I just wish the Lab Reports werent so hard to write. Ittook me TWO weeks to get one of them done! *bangs head on desk*

Lab reports are never any fun. I spent many hours doing them... And our Prof. examined every single little detail in those reports, so it was hard to please him. I can't stress enough how important it is to keep going, and to never give up. I know it's hard, but when life gives you lemons, you've gotta try and make some lemonade.

Man, I have way too much to rant about right now, but my life gets rather messy and confusing, so I'll keep it to myself. In the meantime, I will sit and talk. Prepare for a very long post.

Machias, your roommate and your friends can definitly be a distraction and a frustration, but you really have to remember that they're adults and can work out their problems as such. This in no way means you have to stop caring for their feelings, just don't let their problems bring you down. Fate sometimes has the grace to save us, and our friends, when we least expect it.

And being yet another follower of the arts, I understand how hopeless it feels sometimes when you realize how many other people are out there doing what you do. But when I was starting high school, my grandpa told me to do what I love and stick with it, and everything else will fall into place. Timing really is everything, and don't say impossible until you've tried everything your heart and mind can think of. Because even the most talented of people get turned down when the timing is wrong. And I mean that! Consider this, eight years after his novel,Steps, won the National Book Award, Jerzy Kosinski permitted a writter to change his name and the title of his book and send a manuscript of the novel to thirteen agents and fourteen publishers to test the plight of new writers. They all rejected it, including Random House, which had originally published it to begin with. I have already seen that you are a talented writer and artist, and I urge you to keep with that talent.

And whenever you're feeling hopeless, drop on down and we'll all be here to help you find that hope and help you find the determination in yourself to get back out there. Feel better!!!

*sigh* thanks....I really would like to get the arts invvolved with my science, i just have yet to find a way...It'll come to me tho...I hope.

Ahh, Chemistry...I was able to get my lab reports done (at 3am this morning) but now i have to worry about the test tomorrow morning...I'll be up most of the night tonight, i know it...*flops her mountain of books and notes onto her desk, and the legs buckle underneath* see?! Its all the basic stuff, but there's just so MUCH of it! It will be a long and annoying process, but i can do it...
