I've been listening to past podcasts because you have some really interesting guests. David Wise was a bit weird with his apathetic yet sensitive approach on the TMNT. He takes way too much credit for bringing the Turtles into the mainstream and feels like every version thereafter is a rip off of his ideas.
My favourite awkward moment during that episode is where at one point you can hear an audio clip of a girl saying something like "Wanna pop my cherry?", in a sexy voice. It was coming from one of the hosts (or even more hilariously, the guest's) computer.
It doesn't beat the all time best awkward moment of the entire podcast (talking about the TMNT Universes) when Jeff suddenly screams "MOM, STOP DOING THAT!". I literally jumped when that happened. It was pretty much this:

I was wondering when someone was gonna bring that up! Living at home can be a pain in the butt sometimes. Granted my mom was pretty depressed at the time, hence why she was watching television in the other room, but she had it on so damn loud, I thought for sure my laptop's microphone would pick it up. I'm just glad the situation didn't escalate into a domestic disturbance.

Hey folks, I've been twisting Andrew's arm trying to get him to restart the old podcast with me. I'm a lot more even-keel these days, no longer the over-emotional train wreck of a man-child I was back in 2013 and I've been wanting the chance to redeem myself and the podcast. If anybody here is interested in us bringing it back, I'm open to suggestions.

you should totally restart the podcast given some of the recent TMNT stuff that is coming out, The new games and such.

I just worry how entertaining I'd be at this point. If I were to force myself to read, say, the last few years of the IDW comics I'd probably not have too much nice to say... and you know what they say about if you can't do that. Plus I don't want to crap on those guys. I certainly haven't watched any "Rise of the TMNT" and nor do I plan on. Never saw the last movie and definitely never plan to.

I guess we can discuss the general stuff going on with TMNT? It would get us through like... one episode.

Just do a podcast once Shredder's Revenge comes out, and talk about how the game is like.

Or.......

You could always talk about Batman Vs. TMNT if you haven't already. There's always the N.E.C.A. stuff. Heck you could even cover the recent reveal of April (before Shredder or Raph and Don) as a playable character in that Nickelodeon Smash Bros. rip-off.

If your still waiting on what Tiger Claw suggested to release, but if you guys don't feel like it or your hearts not "in it" anymore that's fine too. Do what makes you happy that's what I always say.

As for me I know once I get back to shore and get settled in, I am going to get right back into the podcast I started with a friend years ago. But whatever you do make certain it's you who wants to do it or it might not work out. Either way have a great day.

There are other TMNT podcasts out there, And they mostly cover the IDW comics or any TMNT related stuff that came out.

Count me in whenever. I'd love to be in a ninja turtle podcast again.

You were a man-child at the age of 32 back then?

I honestly don't think I've ever listened to a podcast in my entire life. Isn't it just like a long youtube video...just without any video? I mean if I want to listen to someone rant about something for 2 hours I'd rather skim through a video.

have you ever listened to talk radio of any kind or listened to news without watching it?

That is essentially a non-internet podcast.

Also, if MoTU can have at least two podcasts with 100+ episodes (At least one does I think the second does as well) I am sure you can figure out a weekly TMNT podcast.

Potential Subjects:
HIstory of the comics
How do you feel about characters/dynamics between characters
Current events like the comic
upcoming media
RUMORS (this is a big pull if you can stay on the ball)
Retrospectives of different parts of the fandom
Product/toy reviews
History of 2nd hand sales (what is the most expensive turtle ever sold?)

You just have to keep thinking on subjects, especially multipart ones. Also...don't consider a million subs to be successful. Look for the thousand mark eventually down the line.
