I'm still holding onto hope that April is a neutrino.

The only explanation that was given so far to April's psychic powers was because she wasn't "entirely human", and no Kraang so far in the series has shown any form of telekinetic or psychic ability to confirm it, so as of now, April having Kraang DNA wouldn't explain her abilities.

The Krang have telepathic ability so that counts as psychic abilities. But I agree I wish she was half neutrino but we don't know if they exist in this version of the show. But it was Donnie that said she was part krang, he might have misinterpreted the information.

Yes, that's very true, and it could be a possibility that she's part Neutrino. I'm curious to know more about her mom and whether her mom is still alive or if she was captured by the Kraang and killed? It would be cool if she was still alive and reunited with April later down the line.

Have they said exactly how old April was when her mom died?

I would also like to know how her mother died.

I would like to see some flashbacks for April's past as well.

My guess is complications from birth following the Kraang's experiments.

Oh they can rebuild her alright. They have the technology. Hey dude, the reforming thing would work as well. I'd like to see April Derp or at least another one again. Biotroid too. Oh and thanks to whoever that dromer was who pointed out Timcicle in the background towards the end of the ep.

I agree, Bubbly. Would love to learn more about her mom. I have a feeling we will. I certainly don't think she's dead. We'll be seeing her eventually, I bet. Now whether or not mommy will be recognizable, no clue there.

I really was not a fan of this episode. I found myself being bored and thinking "What am I watching?". I would even go as far as saying, in my opinion, that it was the worst episode of the new series. The April derp was very stupid...they could have made a better looking reject. April's origin was finally revealed but the episode was so bad that I did not even care at that point. The previews for next week's episode looked pretty dumb too...so maybe I spoke too soon about this being the worst episode? Fingers crossed because I truly have enjoyed this series up to this point.

but why would the Kraang rebuild a reject T^T they seem to finally know how to make perfect April clones.

I hope we get another villain that doesn't really know they're doing wrong.

Hey maybe her mom is Mona Lisa. I mean it would sort of be appropriate, it would give a new origin to a one shot female mutant character from the OT series. And in further homage Pat Musick the voice of Mona Lisa is the mother of Mae Whitman the voice of April.

Two things I was wondering is, if 'normal' April has those powers, would those clones of hers have them too?

And did the clones know they were not April, or did they all think they were actually April?

Well, it doesn't surprise me. I mean I said it just recently, with this creative staff, you never know what they will put out of left field next. I mean, out of all the incrainations of April over the past 30 years, this is when they decide to go in this left field direction?

I can guanteee you, when animation histories look over the history of TMNT, let's in the next 25 years (if it's still around), the're going to look over all the different incranations of April in TMNT, and be like "WHAT THE ****!? WERE THESE WRITERS THINKING?" when they get to this one.

I mean seriously? I look over these forums, and I see a lot of Old and New fans, asking the same thing "WTF?! did I just see and hear about April?" Because they (long time older fans) know, that never once in the past 30 years of TMNT, was it ever releveled that April was half Mutant-Alien, never once. Sure she mutanted into a cat, bug, fish woman in the 80s-90s series, temporay into a female turtle in the Archie Comics, and an opening dream seqeance in the IDW Micro-Series, and a yig-yang like monster in the 2003-2009 series (2009 BTTS Season), but out of all that, never once was it relevled that she was half mutant-Alien, never once. Which again goes back to pervious post on this forum.

But like I said at the start of this, I'm not really surprised at all by this.

And again this proves one thing, don't put anything past this writing/creative staff, but you never know what will come next (Irma=Mona Lisa?) You never know.

So, what? This isn't the first time April's been given a strange origin. In the mirage comics she was literally a living drawing, created thanks to the same type of crystal Kirby from the Donatello micro issue had.

I kinda think that's why Donnie is attracted to her in the first place. Not that I care about race, but since both are not human it won't be as awkward for some people now I guess.:3

Yeah that April drawing origin..I'm not too keen on no matter how magical it was. Doesn't really rub as acceptable to me.

Half alien is more plausible then being created from a drawing.

I love all the scifi and fantasy stuff that's in TMNT, But the idea of April being created from a drawing is so far fetched. hahahah
