Please tell me Seth Green can sing. His tone of voice just doesn't sound like it would lend itself too well in that department and my ears just spontaneously started bleeding at the thought.

I'm also pretty sure that "The Saw Is Family" was used in TC3 as well, not just 2.

I did wonder about that actually. Maybe not the Nick turtles then.

I just dislike when some horror fans make fun of people who don't like horror by calling them names. It's not called for.
This. I would prefer an adventure like episodes. Maybe something like The Goonies, Neverending Story, Flight of the Navigator, Pirates of the Caribbean, Raiders of the Lost Arc, Without a Paddle (considering whose voicing Leo now, this could be a really cute episode) The Mummy, Adventures in Babysitting, Homeward Bound, Jurassic Park, etc......

I can't help but be curious as to what it's saying, as it appears to be quoting him and might give a slight clue (however tiny) as to what is going on in the city. If he mentions anything about aliens, then we know that the EDF people haven't been censuring the press about the invasion.

I guess the only episode I liked out of the ones you mentioned was Cockroach Terminator, the others weren't as interesting to me. I think it might have been because they were literally a bunch of mutants of the week, and that got old after a while. I can't help but like Season 3 because half of the creatures they come across aren't mutants, either being demonic entities or a borderline mythical creatures (Bigfoot.) It makes it feel like there is a diverse cast of enemies, something I know people were complaining about a bunch because it seemed that every new enemy that popped up was yet another mutant.

Once they get back to New York, there will be more MOTWs. Shredder and co won't have much development outside of briefly interacting with the Turtles, and we probably won't see a resolution to Karai's mutation until the season 3 finale. I don't begrudge the Hampton stuff, because it's honest about what it really is, and that is what makes it so fun for me.
Those were hardly mutant of the week episodes, and actually had recurring themes in them (especially it came From the Depths, how can anyone not like that episode is beyond me, it has one of the best TMNT characters of all time in it) and likewise for Monkey Brains. And mutants of the week vs monster of the week, whats the difference? At least the previous seasons had well written episodes for the most part, and maybe they set the bar too high for me, so as of right now, I'm just disappointed in season 3 thus far. But, I was disappointed for a bit with season 2 beginning until Slash and Destroy came along, but also, that episode was written by a guest writer and not a regular. Most of the better episodes of season 2 were written by the guest writers.

Cartoon television has seriously improve since 2010. I know that's hard to believe but it's true.

The episode was weird and creepy , but it has its moments like the boys on a band (in Raph's dream) and the store owner explaining to Casey what those dream beavers were. Finally, when Casey broke the enchantment on that book the beavers were free and the boys were able to wake up. Later the beavers disappeared. Finally, the store owner was able to sleep after many years. April kissed Donnie again.

This episode was a bit creepy, especially the chain saw scene. It did have good humor in it.

The episode was very strange. There's probably a chance that kids had nightmares because of the dream beavers or they might have been afraid to go to sleep. When Raphael was tied up in a chair by snakes and the beaver wanted his soul I automatically began thinking to myself, "Hmm, where have I seen this?"

Sh!t. That's not the end of the scene stealings either. The dude singing has a gap in his tooth, just like Donnie, and he's even talking to his mother who is a shrunken head, just like the Finger did in A Foot Too Big.

It was not a Gravity Falls character... The pyramid with an eye on top has been symbolic imagery in pop culture & government alike for longer than anyone on these boards has been alive.

So with the Beavers...

Dire and Dread are: Robert Englund
Dark and Dave are: John Kassir

The A team get Freddy and the B team get the Crypt Keeper.

So why then did Donatello have the Most Freddy Kruger like dream and the Most Freddy Kruger Like Beaver with Dark if Robert Englund didn't even voice him? That can't be right...can it? Robert Englund has to be Dark as well as Dire

I honestly thought Dave was voiced by John DiMaggio as it kind of sound liked him.

Meanwhile, Raph had a drum set in his room as seen in Slash and Destroy and Mikey kinda implied he could play a trombone in Karai's Vendetta:

By the way, in Raph's dream his brothers were pretty much using their own weapons to "play" music. Leo and Donnie weren't even holding actual guitars, they were just holding their katana/bo staff; while Mikey had an actual drum set but using his nun-chucks as the drum sticks. I wonder what instrument could be played using Raph's sai? Right now I'm only thinking of using it as a mic

I see the guitar as the main instrument in a band, it always holds centre/front stage - making it perfect for Leo, the leader. Most drummers are frickin' nuts when they drum - perfect for Mikey. Leaving bass for Donnie, I don't know why but I think it really suits him. Bass guitars are usually tall like he is.

I thought the overall episode was fun and interesting. I assume we will not be seeing the Dream Beavers again since they are no longer Dream Beavers but Reality Beavers? haha Unless of course they grow a bit taller. I really enjoyed the comic book scenes too. Anything relating to Mirage, I love! That's probably why I liked the Terror Bears concept. Perhaps the darker themed episodes are showing early in season 3 because it is a darker time in the TMNT's lives with everything that happened in the season 2 finale? I, for one, like the darker episodes a lot.

On another note, I can't wait to own the Dream Beaver figures and hope we eventually have all four!!
