Mike crossed his arms, leaning his back shell against the nearby wall. He watched the conversation with a calm attentiveness. He looked over to Leo, wondering what he thought on the situation....

Then, a thought suddenly came to him: Donny. Don's technowizardry would be much more useful in this situation than his shoddy PC. It wouldn't hurt to have an extra body on hand, either...

"Alright," Mike said calmly. "I think I'm gonna give Don a call. He's much more capable of looking into this kinda stuff than I am."

Michelangelo began to walk toward his phone.

Randi raised an eyeridge as she watched Mike dail the number.

Donatello had just finished eating when his cell phone rang. The tune - the bafoon - immediatly told him it was Mike. He flipped open the phone and answered. "Hey Mike, what's up?"

Mike's entire demeanor had changed to one of deadly seriousness, a sharp contrast to his normally relaxed and amicable self. He was staring straight up at the dojo ceiling, and didn't even bother to respond to Randi's jib.

Suddenly, a shadow seemed to spring to life and descend from the ceiling. It corporealized somewhat, and took the form of a tall, muscular anthropomorphic black panther.

"Greetings, Michelangelo." The panther sneered.

"Hello, Kagato." Mike replied calmly. "What are you doing here, exactly??"

Randi kept her expression the same as the panther dropped from the cieling, making it impossible to tell whether or not she had really noticed the mutant's precense or not. She kept silent, noting the demeanor between the turtle and the panther, waiting to see what 'Kagato's' reply was before she really did anything; howver, that didnt mean she couldn't charge up her own... defenses.

"Heard some shots, old man." The panther replied with a cocky grin. "Just wanted to see what was up and up."

"I'm sure you were deeply concerned," Mike replied sarcastically.

"Of course." He said with a low laugh.

"Well, if there's nothing else," Mike trailed off, turning his back to the panther. "I'm kinda in the middle of something."

"Yeah, there is, kame." Kagato replied. "Our rematch."

Mike turned his head around slowly to Kagato. "I see."

There was a moment of silence piercing the room...

And the silence was broken by the clearing of Randi's throat. "This is going to sound Ironic, seeing as we're currently standing in the middle of the Dojo, but now's not the time to fight."

Michelangelo looked at Kagato for a moment. He then turned away again.

"She's right," He replied calmly. "We're in the middle of something right now, and I don't have time to waste with you, Kagato. Perhaps.."

"Hell NO, kame!!" Kagato screamed out loud. "You humiliated me!! We're gonna settle this..."

"Watch your tongue, student." Mike interrupted him, in a very calm, forboding voice. His words seemed to have an eery air about them, an effect similar to 'the voice' in Dune. Mike pointed his right index finger at the panter. "YOU were the one that betrayed this dojo. YOU were the one that sought to usurp my position. YOU were the one that tried to sell out MY students to the Foot. That was inexcusable behavior."

Kagato growled in reply. "Why, you self-righteous...."

"And," Mike continued. "When I found out about your dishonorable actions and confronted you, you actually had the GALL to physically challenge me. You couldn't leave the dojo in peace, but felt the need to dishonor yourself further by attacking its master. You got what you deserved."

Kagato was silent.

"We have nothing further to say," Mike said. "You brought this 'humiliation' upon yourself. You are a disgrace to this dojo and to our tradition. Go back to the Foot, traitor."

With that, Kagato charged with a ferocious roar...

But the ex student would never even make it to Michelangelo -- at least not with that attempt -- as a sudden, large psionic force collided with Kagato's side like a football player tackling an apponent and sending him flying into the wall opposite the female turtle.

"I don't think I made myself clear." She said, her red eye seemingly getting bright as she peered over her sunglasses at him, "This is not the time to fight."

However, she thought as several bladed weapons pulled themselves from out of their holding stand and fly over towards the panther. The blades cirounded him and stopped a few feet from Kagato, to act as a threatening precense against him. Exceptions can be made.

By this point, Mike had become fully aware of Randi's psi --- but neither of them seemed to concered with that, at the moment. Mike had stood in place, completely unmoved from his initial position. As was as if the last few moments hadn't even fazed him at all...

The psychokinetic 'blast' was powerful enough to hurl Kagato across the room, but not to actually damage him. He flipped to his feet as he was thrown, with a satisfied grin on his face.

Suddenly, the weapons flew at his body --- freezing him in place.

Kagato turned to Mike, "Lettin' y' new girl do y' fightin' for yah, eh, kame?"

Mike's expression did not change, as he know the panther was trying to get a rise out of him. Kagato doubted such a coy tactic would work against the turtle, anyway...

The panther sneered and turned to Randi. "That the best y' got, sugah?"

With that, he disappeared in a black blur --- almost completely unseen in the dim light of the dojo. He was charging right towards Randi, and whizzed right through the weapons without difficulty.

"Randi!" Mike knew what Kagato was about to do, the panther's claws extended.

Randi wasn't surprised that he was able to escape the weapons, he was a martial artist and the weapons were just floating there anyways. As mentioned before hand, she had been preparring her own defenses as Kagato and Mike were talking making her psionic field wider than what she normally kept it.

As soon as she felt him enter her range, she forced him back again with another burst of tk -- just enough to destract him -- and immediatly forced herself into his mind, and quickly finding his hypothalamus, (or what ever the senses are connected to) temporarily cutting off his sense of hearing and sight.

"You'll have tah do better than that, girly!!" He boasted, planting his left foot across the side of her face. "Mikey used to teach me blindfolded all th' time!"

Alright, so she wasn't expecting that. It was a basic instinct for most people whom have suddenly lost control of ther sight and hearing to, well, panic. The main reason she had taken those senses away was to simply catch his attention, but obviously she'd have to be a bit... Louder. She took a few steps backwards to catch her balance and rubbed her sore cheek and grinned.

Have a seat. She replied cheerfully in the deaf feline's mind as a strong force of TK slammed him onto his butt. She kept the TK force on him, keeping him down. Now, Mr. Kagato, as I was saying -- believe it or not -- this is not the time to fight. We've got more important things to worry about at the moment and frankly, I am not in the mood. She paused in thought, On second thought, however, it would be fun to whitness a real ninja at work as he differentiates himself from a psuedo ninja... Randi shrugged visibly. Then again, I could always make you think you're a chicken... or mouse, sound like fun?

Michelangelo had been fairly calm this entire time. Kagato knew Mike could have probably easily intercepted one of his attacks but did not. Why?? He just seemed to stop suddenly, and step back on the sidelines. Why??

"Nothing, Randi." Mike replied casually. "His caretakers have already arrived, just as I'd predicted."

"What?!" Kagato piped.

Two shadowy figures appeared next to Michelangelo. They were higher-level Foot ninja. And they seemed a bit annoyed.

"I apologize for the inconvenience, Michelangelo-san," One of them said sincerely, with a slight bow. "Kagato was instructed not to cause contention for you and your family. You can be assured that he will be disciplined for this discretion."

Mike nodded. "No problem."

Kagato was livid. He stared blankly at Michelangelo, even though he couldn't actually see him yet (Randi's attack was still in place). "You knew this would happen!! You played me!!"

"Yes, student." Mike said calmly, turning back to Kagato. "I did. One of the most basic lessons I taught was to avoid direct confrontation, and you should have heeded that. Now, instead, you are to be punished for your recklessness. I think there's a lesson here, neh?"

"But," Kagato blurted, "how did you know?? How did you know they'd find me?? How did you know they'd come here??"

Mike smirked. "I've been doing this stuff fer near-30 years, kid. After a while, you start to pick up on subtle hints and patterns that you missed out on before."

Kagato was actually flabergasted. He now knew Mike was faking his "outrage" beforehand, clearly to buy the Foot guardians some time to arrive. Kagato gasped in actual shock.

"Come, student," the second Foot ninja said. "It is time to return home. You have some explaining to do to Mistress Karai."

As they were on their way out the door, Mike said, "Please send Karai my regards."

The Foot ninja nodded. And, with that, they had disappeared.
