But hell, literally anything is possible within the realm of fiction.
My thoughts exactly.

I think the TMNT and humans are to geneticly different to be able to have offspring.

I remember in the Superman series "Lois and Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman", Clark wasn't able to conceive a child with Lois because their DNA were too different.

But, like you said, Kali... Anything is possible within the realm of fiction.

That's even assuming that the Turtles themselves are not sterile from their mutation. But if the fictional laws claim that the ooze substance can grant animals humanoid form, then we are working with different laws than our world. In my experience, most radioactive (or whatever) substances have more negative side effects than positive.

(Yeah, we’re thinking too much, but it’s fun.)

We can twist the universe any way we want in fanfiction, fanart, and/or RPG. There are no laws to say that we can't have a human/Turtle relationship, and have them reproduce.

We don't really know the "truth" what changes happened to the TMNT. It's all merely speculation as we can't exactly ask them ourselves, and available to examine in the real world, but it's fun and interesting to come up with ideas. As far as my opinion is concerned, the ooze basically rebuilt their entire genetic/DNA structure. They're as human as we are.

Typical male; always see the outside rather than the inside.

Do they look like your garden-variety turtles anymore? No, they aren't. Last time I saw a turtle, they didn't have human limbs and appendages, human emotions, needs, wants, and luxuries.

Exactly.

The TMNT are NOT turtles anymore. They're just called "turtles" for the lack of a scientific name for their species.

Typical female; always thinking with her heart, and not with her brain.

Just because they have human-like features, that's far from being the same as a human. They are human-like mutated turtles, NOT humans. Their emotions, needs, wants, and luxuries may resemble those of a human, but you show me one human in real-life existence that has green skin, a turtle shell attached to their stomach and back, 2 big toes on each foot, 3 big fingers on each hand, and HUGE mouths, and I'll reward you with a cookie.

hell yeah she does look like a big green thing from Fraggle Rock... she also reminds me of those little guys from the movie Dark Crystal (which was done by Jim Henson too, the same guy that did Fraggle Rock and the TMNT movies). Those little dudes in Dark Crystal that are turned into slaves for the skeksies (sp.?).

Oprah Winfrey is the only person that comes close to my mind.

Honestly, not all guys are materialistic jerks that only care about appearence!
And, not all women are impulsive slaves to their moods!
Please, Try to see people as individuals instead of making sexist comments!

Calm down. I didn't mean to be stereo-typical or sexist, but I was stating a hard fact I've had to face for a long time. It's going to be tough for me to find someone who appreciates inner beauty. I know not all guys are shallow like that, but I have found very few.

I've been single again for nearly a year now after going through a separation with an ex-boyfriend whom been together for a year and a half. Long story short, I ditched him because he didn't see what the point of morality was. He is well on his way to becoming a con-artist with the unhonorable ways he has of making easy money by scamming people. He wasn't going to give that up for the sake of my honor, and so I couldn't stay with him. It's a lot like it was for Leonardo and Lotus Blosom in that respect.

Anyway, him, and one other guy I may have interest in currently are the only ones that have taken the time to see the person I am on the inside. The rest barely give me a second glance because I'm not a Hollywood fashion model on the outside; far from it.

Gomen Nasai. I apologize for offending you, TD. It's just 90% of the time I see remarks like Neo's about appearances, and it really upsets me.

Heck who knows....the radioactive Ooze that mutated them may have steralized the turtlers in the first place...

EDIT: Blast you Kali!!! But seriously....what's the point of this...I can see posibly...POSIBLY the guys and Human women having deep emotional relationships, but never anything sexual....despite the fact that they are huminoid, they are turtles first and the whole Reptile/Mammal thing doesn't mesh....pure and simple.

Leonardo Mystic, you took my comment way too personally. I have nothing against you at all.

You said that the TMNT are humans, and I simply corrected you by saying that they are, in fact, not humans, but mutated turtles. I never once said anything about outside appearances being more important than what's on the inside or anything close to that.

For example, the picture that I drew of Raphael and April's son, Gordy, was a reflection of how I thought some members of the outside world would treat a turtle-human hybrid. That is not necessarily how I would treat a turtle-human hybrid, but that is how I depicted some members of society would treat a turtle-human hybrid if they actually existed.

Another case in point: when an author writes a story about racist people and how they treat minorities, the author doesn't have to be racist to write the story. He/she could be writing the story to reflect to the readers what that type of situation might be like. Of course, the author could be a racist, but simply assuming that the author is a racist without finding out first if he/she is truly a racist, well, that's just ignorance!

"Assumption is the mother of all f***-ups."

I am not a shallow person, although I do have standards, just as every civilized and respectable person should have standards.

Don't confuse having standards with being shallow. That's a common mistake that people make.

I apologize if I offended you with anything that I said, Leonardo Mystic, but I assure you it was not intentional.

I understand that, and I accept your apology. I was not assuming anything, or if I did, I certainly did not intend to. I only explained my feelings behind the comment.

The TMNT are hybrids themselves. They aren't true turtles anymore; they're not animals. They may retain some of their turtle-like qualities such as their green skin and shell/plastron, but that's about it. When I look at them, I don't see mutated turtles, I see men.

Do you understand where I'm trying to come from?
