I think it's a one-week break, but honestly wouldn't mind around a 1 month break if it means constantly getting episodes back-to-back involving the foot clan.

I don't mind the breaks if they tell us when the shows are coming back... I hate it when they take a show of the air and don't mention when it comes back... or say it's coming back in Jan and then not show new episodes until Feb

I'm fine with a slight break, as long as new episodes are coming right before the Kid's Choice Awards.

Give the kids some new stuff to build momentum towards voting the show for "Favorite Cartoon"

I doubt the break will be too long, I would think Nick would want to finish season 2 before the film comes out in August. If it is going to be a few weeks breaks then TMNT on Nick UK can catch up.

Doubt it. There's an article in this thread where someone from Nick says they plan to stretch S2 at least into October

Yeah, me too. I don't want another 2 month hiatus so soon after the last one. We've barely gotten rolling this year. I can see a two week break but none of this month/two month long stuff.

Or move to the UK and get all your TMNT episodes televised 1-6 months behind the States.

The season is 26 episodes and they only aired 12.

They have half the season left so there's no excuse for constant hiatus. I'd rather have a summer break of reruns and have all the episodes aired by June.

The show more than likely only has about 2-3 more episodes in complete form based on the time it takes to complete a show like this. The breaks are done to allow them to have a gap of lead way so that they can release a cluster of episodes at a time. But Season 2 is NOT completely finished and produced, not even close for that matter. It's the reason why if Nick wants the show extended for more seasons than 3, it should be said very soon, so that the additional seasons can be released in the same span as the others without a lengthy delay between them.

Why do I get the feeling that a lot of people don't know this?

Most of season 2 is probably done. They are working continuously since season 1 ended.
