Having some fun with one of my latest grabs. This one practically made itself!

Now I wish they'd made an actual figure of Lotus, though Mitsu stands in rather nicely.

The closest we will get to a Lotus for the original line.

LOL! Caught the miWorld minis, there! Nice. I just got some of the minis I ordered today, so I'll have to do some pics to show em off. These should be amusing!

Heh, yup! I have a couple, myself- one of the same sets, from the looks of it. But the minis I got today were some dollhouse prop comics and magazines. So neat! Have some mini books and other items on the way, too. I'm building my own lair from scratch, using the OT layout and furnishings. Already have the kitchen table and the checkered cloth en route, along with the bonsai from Splinter's room, a couple of beds, and items for Don's workshop. Even have some brickwork wallpaper for the walls, and a bamboo mat for the dojo!

You can save alot of money on things line wallpaper, books, food boxes, magazines, and some furniture just by downloading free patterns and prints online. I've been working on building my own lair in a cabinet. Made alot of the stuff myself. Dollhouse DIY sites are fantastic for things like that. I don't know if you ever use Flickr but if you click the link in my signature, it'll pull up my account and guy can see the kinds of prints, books and such I made from patterns. It takes a little trial and error, but it really helps things take on a life of their own. I mix custom works and pre-made pieces to get the affect. Pinterest is another great resource for DIY and such.

I forgot to post my new set up from a while back.

I've gotten NECA turtles since then so I gotta move stuff around again, but I gotta rearrange some stuff first. Plus, I've got new figs someone in a few weeks. Gaaah...

Oh yes. Most Figma and Revoltech figs come with them, but Amazon has a few different types. Personally, I'm a fan of these:

I also love the Bandai effects pieces, but they're kinda pricey. If they have a sale, I'm gonna grab some for some DBZ-style set-ups.

I also think these smoke effects would be cool for turtles, but again, so pricey.

Same thing with these cool waves.

Cool stuff, guys! I've actually been thinking of trying some similar effects using simple metal jewelers' wire. Had to get the thickest gauge I could find, but we'll see how it works.

Also, I found a simple and space-effective way to store my figures and accessories- Wal-Mart has some plain plastic storage boxes in various sizes from very small (2x3x2) for small parts, to larger ones that can fit up to ten figures standing upright. (As long as they don't have a lot of big body parts that stick out too far, like tails and such.)
