Is the "hatred" for baby boomers actually justified?

As some of you might have noticed, it has become popular for younger people online to make fun of baby boomers and blame them for all the world's current problems.

I don't get it though. Especially when it comes to socio-economic issues and discrimination. Weren't the baby boomers themselves the young people of the time things like he civil rights movements in USA and the sexual revolution happened? So in comparison, what have the current young generations have done to change to the world and fight injustices besides complaining on social media?

It's ironic because older generations always complained about the younger generations... and younger gens are now doing the same thing just as much if not even more.

Anyway, I don't dislike someone because they're from a different generation. That's stupid people are people. I'm 30 years old. Does this mean I identify with everything my generation is supposed to like or be into? Of course not.

Thoughts?
