Every single one of these guys developed serious drug dependency directly related to their dumb sh*t, and some of them are dead now because of it. Some of them got so hooked on painkillers that they became full-blown heroin addicts. The rest have been in and out of rehab for the last 10 years, and now this? Jesus Christ, they must really be hard up for money.

What a shame. People shouldn't be rooting for this, they should be trying desperately to talk them out of it.

My inkling is that the one(s) that don't need to do this for the money are doing it for the ones who do need to do this for the money.

I grew out of jackass shortly after middle school. I don't know how this scene from the first movie has now become prophetic

Bam won't be in it and he's pissed. Also, possibly suicidal.

What a loser. Bam’s needed rehab for well over a decade now. It would’ve been funny if they kept this drama in the film, but it’s more sad than anything. Dude’s looking more like Don Vito than Phil at this point.

He went absolutely mad years ago, but it does seem improper to keep him out of it. Least they could do is a few small things, for the sake of honoring how he helped make the property what it is.

Sounds like they did start to shoot stuff with him but they caught him doing drugs (I'm assuming something bigger than weed) on set so gave him the boot.

A big part is probably insurance. "Movies" like these people can end up dead so they probably have very expensive insurance involved... and then if it turns out someone was high and the crew knew about it? Not good!

Pretty sure Bam still isn't over Ryan Dunn's death and that's why he's been on his downward spiral over the last few years. Everyone thought Steve-O would be the one to kick the bucket and here now it's Bam everyone is worried about. That being said, I will see this. Probably not in theaters but I'll see it.

- Guy ruins his life with drugs and alcohol, dies as a direct result of his actions and life choices.

- His close friend, "overcome with grief", throws himself headlong into drugs and alcohol, destroying his life as well as the lives of those around him.

"Logic".

Call me crazy, but when I see people f*ck themselves over to the point where they check out decades early, MY first reaction is not "I'mma do the Exact Same Thing that f*cking idiot did."

But then I'm not a f*cking drug addict and have nothing but disdain for those who are. So, y'know.

I watched part of a trailer and the jump the shark stunt. Man, this is just depressig to watch them do this. It's like those 50+ wrestlers who keep doing it because they need an extra paycheck, just sad. I hope this is the last one, I'm sure someone is going to die eventually if they continue to do any of this stuff, they're not in their 20s anymore and it also hasn't been funny in two decades either. You grow out of it.

I didn't start smoking pot heavily until I was like 20, so I never thought so either. And even now, I still don't think it is. But in my circle, it was mostly the stoners who were into it.

I never had health insurance and a lot of my friends and family died young for various reasons, so this stuff always just made me shake my head.

Like, jumping off a roof and splitting your head open isn't funny when MTV isn't paying all your medical bills.

Some of the stunts are hilarious. Some of them are just gross-out and not funny.

Viva La Bam was a funnier show than Jackass, and that didn't involve as many intense stunts.

I liked Viva La Bam for a while back when my wife used to watch it. It got annoying though because they were all so obviously coked to the gills and people like that get old fast, the way they never stop screaming and laughing at their own jokes and sh*t. It's annoying in real life and it's annoying on TV. I was more into seeing his Mom get pissed off and scream than anything else. Or Don Vito try and fail to approach even a 4-year-old's grasp of the English language.

I usually don't like "Fatty-Boom-Boom" type of humor but I would've watched a show all about Don Vito, probably. It'd be such a f*cking train wreck/dumpster fire.

Isn't that the show where we have to pretend Bam's mom and dad aren't always briefed and ready for some elaborate prank, like always? I tried to watch those. Never bought into it.
