I probably haven't watched an episode in 20 years but I loved Superman: TAS. So many good episodes, great "guest" features (Lobo!) and all the episodes with Darkseid like the one where he kills Dan Turpin were amazing.

This looks fun, I do hope it's still mostly an action show with a little comedy. If it's not really action oriented I may not be interested.

The show is an action rom com.

Still on the fence about this show, I'm not sure if I'll like it or not. Going to give it a fair watch for sure.

So it's basically an animated Lois and Clark show. The should have gotten Dean Cain to do the voice.

Superman is a hero of a bygone era, there's a reason DC can't release a Superman figure. He's like Mickey Mouse just an iconic figure, but no one actually wants to watch the boring adventures of the hero. You can reboot it all you want, the new movie will bomb and so will this show. Like all the previous Superman cartoons since the 90s. Show looks fun but..

Let's face it no one cares about Superman. His only relevancy today is selling a t-shirt with his logo.

You guys can seethe all you want but that's what the numbers show and that's why the real people who greenlight this stuff keeps Superman in the vault. There's no conspiracy, only numbers.

So much of this is wrong.

You look at this Superman and don’t feel that he’s girly? Even a little bit?

I've seen the first episode. It's fine, it's not great but it's fine. It's a little weird with Clark and Lois being as young as they seem to be here and there are some things that also seem weird for a Superman show, but it's fine.

It's a little awkward that it's on AS rather than CN though. Have anyone seen Unicorn Warriors Eternal? That's another show that premiered on Adult Swim recently but was clearly intended for a younger audience, it's like that. The show was obviously not made with AS' target age range in mind.

This looks like it'll be fun, I'll wait for the whole season to air before I marathon it though. We haven't had a solo Superman series since S:TAS ended in the late 90's, so it's been 20 years.

At this point he's probably just hoping if he says enough weird stuff he'll irritate people into replying to him.

The difference is that Cybercubed is on an entirely different level of trolling and sometimes -- not always -- is able to genuinely blur the line between "he's trolling!" and "is he for real with this?"

Yeah but Cubed manages to stay silly for the most part where nobody really PM's behind the scenes wishing him dead.
