I kinda could have imagined they would do something like that for kids show. I'll have a look at an ep for curiosity but it is the other show I have more of an interest in.

I'll see it, but I have my doubts about both its effectiveness and its longevity. I have my reservations about the Kevin Smith project as well.

We shall see.

WAY too over designed. like the PD Turtles. I can see why they wanted something different.. but when you can't make out detail...

Somebody on the He-Man board Photoshopped it so that He-Man's head is even smaller and Battle Cat has monster truck tires on the sides of his legs.

He-Man's head definitely gives off 2012 Nick series Slash vibes.

Outside of the front claws I do like the look of Battle Cat.

Much has also been said about Mattel's ever-uglier and more garish attempts to create a He-Man insignia they can trademark rather than the Iron Cross.

I mean, seriously, what is that mess? I mean, I know it's an H and an M all crammed together. Logically, I know and understand that. What I mean is... no, seriously, WHAT is THAT? C'mon.

Too bad. There was a period of time when he could've done any movie he wanted, and was in demand by all. Now he's just the guy that shows up in a lot of documentaries to explain and rave about geeky stuff, or does very small and weird new movies.

Lemme guess, Krass is the 'minority' character among all the 'whiteys'.

Agreed. It looks horrendous to me.

Yeah, there's some uproar on the He-Man boards about it. Sounds pretty dreadful.

everyone looks OK.

what I don't like are Teela, and Orko. Orko looks a tad too freaky.
and Teela looks too manly.

other than that, it's better looking than I could have hoped for given how badly she-ra looked.

Waiting for Leo to chime in.

I like the look of it visually, Orko was a little more different with a grim-sh (trying to think of the best word there) look to the toonish look we are used to. As of the story, do you think the isolation and abuse will be around Skeletor?

I'm interested in this, with some caution on the description (depending what exactly they do and if they over do it for example)

This literally sounds like something you would hear from a He-Man PSA.

“I watched all of the TV series growing up, it was everywhere in the ‘80s,” he added. “These characters started off as toys and ended up becoming part of the global pop culture fabric. So much of this show has been possible because of the love and affection for this world at every level of production and the fandom surrounding this franchise. A big reason we got such top tier voice talent is because people genuinely want to be a part of this world. So many of us were touched by these stories and these characters early in our lives and were so happy to come back to Eternia. But even if you’ve never watched a single episode of the show or don’t know this universe at all, you can jump right into the story. It’s a really classic, universal action-adventure epic about growth, discovery, magic, and power. This series explores destiny in a fresh way. There’s a lot of reconciling with secrets, betrayal, trust, acceptance, love, and ultimately, loss.”
