I watched this live, the press couldn't contain their laughter after she nearly broke down. All the major news stations cut out the laughter whenever they replayed her speech.
Same reactions to dealing with Europe are what cost us the Iron Lady for ill deed or good too. Being a remainer from the outset already clouded her mission statement. She had plenty of hardline Brexit options, but she just didn't want to push hard enough for them. Her heart just wasn't in to leaving. |

I'm dreading who the next PM is going to be. I just hope it's not Boris Johnson but I have a feeling, he will be the next PM.

I have a friend in England who’s probably thrilled that ‘thatcher in the rye’ is no longer PM.
But yeah, it is a political thread which is a no-no. Even though I’d wager this thread would have stayed mostly civil being a non-US politics thread lol |

As a history major with no political affliation there is no ill intent.
I am surprised but being weded to Brexit or not to was the story of her tenure.
