AEW Rampage eh? I kinda hope they don't overdo it, though they do have a huge roster.
I kinda don't count AEW Dark as its own show, since basically it's the literal Dark Matches that take place before and after AEW Dynamite. Not sure how AEW Dark Elevation or whatever counts among that. IDK... I guess depending on where the Dark Elevation matches come from, AEW Rampage could count as its only real second show.

My wife got off her ass and finally gave me the file for my match from a few weeks ago, where I debuted for SuperKrazee Pro Wrestling:
Nothing fancy, just basic old-school sh*t. The upside AND the downside to working the opening match is you're really not supposed to do too much, or it leaves the rest of the guys on the show with nowhere to go. That is what it is. We're supposed to be having the rematch in a few weeks, so that should be fun.

Ultimate Warrior gets two Doc's
Tonight's Probably Biased WWE A&E Doc and Thursday's Pull no Punches Dark Side of The Ring episode. Also Dana Warrior refers to Darkside's Warrior Doc as smut and filth. So that means its gonna be more truthful than WWE's doc

Double or Nothing was a pretty fun show.
I really liked Miro vs. Archer. A very heavy hitting powerhouse bout. Im glad Britt Baker won the women's title. Shida had been champion for a year already. It was starting to get boring. The Joker of the Casino Battle Royal was Lio Rush? Meh. Jungle Boy the number one contender? Eh OK, but I hope he's not the one to beat Omega for the title. I can't see Jungle Boy as world champion material. I just can't. The triple threat had a predictable result, but they did make it interesting. For an instance I thought Orange Cassidy was actually gonna win it. Good job, AEW. Only match result I wasn't happy with was the Tag team titles match. And that's because I don't like the Young Bucks. I was a bit surprised Inner Circle won, tbh. I honestly thought they were going to disband. What's next for them and their feud with The Pinnacle? The Stadium Stampede match last year was a bit of a joke. This time it was better. A fun hardcore match. Mark Henry was the surprise debut? Meh. |

Every match was amazing and had some jaw-dropping moments, the only one that was blah was the Cody match, but everyone kinda saw that coming. The general consensus was that was the worst match but at least it was short.
Jungle Boy is over AF and is a future star. I know he won't beat Omega for the title but as long as he gives it his all and they give some very convincing close calls that make us believe Jungle Boy could have taken it, I'll be happy. Super-surprised to see that Sting can still go. Dude must be in amazing shape. Even with his shirt off, even though he wasn't exactly cut or ripped, he still had a better physique than say, Joey Janela, lol. Shida VS Baker was fire. While it was time for Shida to drop the belt and there was lots of build up for Baker to win it, it kinda sucks that Shida defended the title for all the pandemic and now that crowds are back, now she has to drop the title. If there was a little more foresight, which is impossible for something like a worldwide pandemic, they woulda have Shida defend against someone like Jade for example to give her that one title defense in front of a live crowd and finally drop it to Baker next PPV. But again, at this point, it was just time for Shida to drop it. Real glad the Inner Circle won and stayed together. The Pinnacle is aight, but unless someone else messes with them to direct their attention elsewhere, I see no real point for the Pinnacle to continue to antagonize Jericho's group since they'll lose every time. Amazing show all around, cept the Cody match.
