Also more gems from Tessa Thompson:

"We get to play buddies on a mission together, and we get to do that inside of a male/female pairing where we are equals in terms of screen time, agency and how much we mean to the plot. I think that’s really rare in terms of Hollywood films, unfortunately."

"Also, just having to take up space in a way that as a performer I haven’t, and frankly, as a woman I haven’t — inside of male-dominated spaces — and having to really do that."

"What I love about what we get to do is talk about millennial love and how that looks different inside of new ideas around family and partnership. "

"I mean the modern sensibility now, and the time that we’re in, would allow for a woman like me to topline a studio film like this, and I think that’s impactful."
I like how she ignores the women in films for the last 30 years or so. Oh no Tessa, you are definitely the first ever.

In terms of Agenda Talking during movie press conferences. I still prefer Tessa Thompson's way of doing it over Brie Larson. Tessa is way more lax than Brie. At least Tessa wasn't whining about White Dudes and all that other crap Brie was saying

She's definitely Diet Brie. But still within the same arm.

Apparently the director wanted to walk off the movie, there was two versions of it, and the version the director wanted was going to be a big "woke" thing about immigration and asylum (kind of like Star Trek: Picard will be):

Really? MiB3 was the only one I kind of liked.

MiB3 was the worst of the original trilogy IMO. Having Tommy Lee Jones only show up for part of it was a bad move.

Men In Black 3 is awesome its a great time travel story and ends the J and K story perfectly. I never understand the hate it gets. Its better than MIB 2

I'm pretty sure that was his wish.

MiB 1 was oh-kay (highly overrated), 2 was straight up TERRIBLE, and 3 wasn't great but I was impressed with its heart towards the end there.

And none of them were funny.

MIB1 was the best - its perfectly nailed balance between action and comedy.
MIB2 was bad. Boring.
MIB3 was very good. Almost as good as the first. Lots of fun action, if a bit short.

Saw this movie. Not really BAD bad, but a little cringeworthy when they devote almost an entire scene to Tessa Thompson and Emma Thompson muttering about how the name should be "People in Black" or "Men and Women in Black."

None of the jokes were remotely funny.

Tessa Thompson's character isn't likeable at all. She isn't really given a human pulse. Her whole role consists of just being super smart and poking holes in the patriarchy and toxic masculinity.

Chris Hemsworth just plays a slightly smarter version of his role in Ghostbusters and National Lampoon's Vacation.

Also, completely predictable.

I liked the little alien name Pawny whose voiced by Kumail Nanjiani. He gets super heroic by saving Tessa Thompson's character at the end.
