^ THIS IS EXACTLY TRUE! this is NOT a freak show doc at all!

We want to tell the true, very human story of the people who love TMNT. We do like the visual appeal of collections BUT this is not what the documentary is about. We are trying to tell the story of the fans, how TMNT affected their lives no matter how large or small.

freakshow is exactly what we DON'T want. If we did then I might as well shoot my own stuff (which I did on a massive New York city miniature set over Christmas break). What VH1 did with Ivey, is not what we want to do.

This is a positive story about how TMNT is the biggest, best, and most powerful pop culture phenomenon of our time and why we love it so much!

The one thing we do like! is proximity of fans! We will travel anywhere in North America. But the more fans in a particular area the better! You can understand why.

Sorry I just wanted to make that clear just in case!

Thanks!
Ah, ok. I just looked at your location and My presence in TN and thus the issue came up of distance.

If there are people attending the NYC Comic Con, I will be there shooting TMNT stuff the entire time. If there is anything the fans are interested in doing, a fan party of any type, a fan forum of fans interacting with each other, this is all great and we would love to shoot that.

We are also working on getting as many people creatively involved with the franchise as possible, as well as any material we can use (such as behind the scenes and such) that has not been out there yet.

If there are suggestions, or things that you want to see in there let us know! We will do our best to get them in.

Are you not in the UK? If so I might be able to set something up.

As I have suggested before, having groups of people or fans that know other fans in roughly the same area is a huge help!

Obviously the more fans we can talk to per 'stop' the better! But if you don't know anyone in your area this is still ok, we still want to hear from you!!

^Haha If you watched the trailer for my feature film "Life of Charlie", Harvest was the reason we were able to do that.

Harvest was written, shot, edited, composed, and handed in, in 24 hours for competition. We won audience choice and second place only loosing first because we didn't use one of the provided props.

I am glad you liked it! And I hope you like our Feature Turtle Doc!!

People who are going to NYC Comic Con!!!! We should meet up ! Who's all going?

I always had this notion of a normal guy sitting at home watching TMNT with his kid opening and closing the thing. In the end, that's really what it's about, entertaining generations, and symbolising something for everyone.

Can I get you to say that in an interview! That is what this is about! Showing what it means to each individual, and to all at the same time! As well as seeing some cool stuff and having some cool memories along the way!

Send me an email! I would love to hear more!

This goes for everyone, no matter what your views are or reasons for loving TMNT we want to hear your stories!

Eh. I want to agree with you in principle, but really practically the only kind of Eastman & Laird TMNT that still brings me any enjoyment beyond momentary nostalgic thrills... isn't entirely appropriate for children at all (this harkening back to the 80s, early Mirage source material of the TMNT that you'll find many of the cartoon/toy/collector-only diehards seem to want to forget about, or at least put in a place of lesser importance/relevance).

Noone's telling you to keep that opinion to yourself, you can express that in this documentary as a a "purist" view, but we know that, reallisticly, it's become more than the original intent.

It doesn't sound like any "purists" are going to be in the documentary.

Or "less," depending on your viewpoint. But yes.

Hmm....that's cause for concern. I definatly would want the pursit element in there, otherwise it's not being accurate.
