Would you work in Hollywood?
And if you did take a job in showbiz, what would be your preferred job choice?
Id rather work behind the scenes like setting up props and what have you.

Nah. I wouldn't work for Hollyweird at all. Too many pedos, human trafficking, satanic rituals, and human sacrifices. You have to engage in all these things in order to be something. I'll pass.

Depends, I guess? If I just wanted to make movies and didn't care too much about the budget, then I'd just work independently rather than try to make it big right away. If I was already successful outside of Hollywood, I might enter Hollywood fairly high up without needing to start at the bottom so to say, but the work environment just seems nuts no matter where you are on the ladder. Still, big budgets and large projects might be exciting.
But to me it seems like Hollywood as we knew it is eating its own tail at the moment, and may not remain quite the illustrious part of the movie industry for much longer. |

If I have creative freedom, then writer/director.
If I'm a "hired gun" then director of photography. Or 1st AC. Or editor.

Yeah, agree that set design and actually creating those spaces always sounded like a fun job. And been a little envious before of people who got to do it for TMNT or might someday.
There was a time when I dreamed of working in 3D animation/modeling for film. Not nessessarily in Hollywood, but still part of the collective industry under that label. Though funny enough, when I was a part of a little 'studio' (without a physical existence, much like Mirage), that would ultimately go nowhere, nearly all the things I did model were objects and environments... the animation version of set design. |

Even if I wasn't directly involved, sooner or later I would run into that mess and I don't want the consequences of 'knowing too much' or 'seeing the wrong thing'. Either that or just keep 100% to myself and avoid all the Hollywood parties and whatnot.
