There’s really nothing wrong changing that up and making them brother and sister. It can give them a different dynamic. Plus there will probably be a multiverse episode where they meet the originals and poke fun at each other.

If you’re gonna keep every single thing the same because of backlash then there’s no point. I mean if you’re gonna remake something do some stuff differently. Don’t just “copy and paste”.

I know certain things are considered untouchable and deciding what could or shouldn’t be changed is a balance but this is a perfectly fine difference imo.

I..... kinda don't think 'poke fun' is something you would you if you met an alternate version of yourself and your sister and they're lovers.

I should have worded it better. I meant the show itself would make a fun of it. I’m sure Buster and Babs would be grossed out but other characters would probably make fun of them. Definitely Monty.

None of the OG Voice cast is back IE Charlie Adler and Tress MacNeille as Buster and Babs no thanks.

Will continue watching the OG Tiny Toons on Hulu one of these days

Well I definitely prefer sequels/continuations but I’ve always found remakes interesting. Seeing another interpretation of something is fun imo.

Not sure this new Tiny Toons should be a called a “remake”. When is something a remake and just another version? All the TMNT stuff are different versions not FW or 1990 remakes.

I understand it’s being called this because it’s only the second TT cartoon and it’s been on hiatus for so long but there’s nothing wrong with it existing either way.

People just like using the same complaints on purpose to sound smart or whatever. It happens to everything (remake or not).

Oh well...another series reboot that'll probably have me turning away or not even wanting to touch it...like Animaniacs.

I barely remember the original series at this point.

I do remember seeing the supposed 'banned episode' on TV, the drinking PSA. I never saw the big deal. The characters were assholes but they acknowledged that they were acting out of character for the sake of the PSA, and even after they 'died' at the end, we see it was a staged set and they're taking off their angel costumes and heading home.

Maybe just because beer itself was mentioned? But I mean, how else will you get the message across if you don't flat out name the thing you want kids to avoid? Imagine a no-drug special where drugs themselves are never ever mentioned?
