Just preorders so far. Good price for the Classics (same price as RRP), not so good for the regular figures, which will have a RRP of £7.99, I believe. The regular figures should be out over here by the end of the month anyway, although according to Playmates UK we'll have to wait another 6 months for the Classics.
I might pop down to Smyths tomorrow and try and get some prices - I know they've been on the system there for a while... |

Entertainer's a bit of a crapshoot - sometimes they're much cheaper than TRU and the like, sometimes they're a couple of quid more. They tend to price the stuff that sells well higher, so it could mean they expect to shift a lot of Turtles.
TRU have confirmed that they'll be stocking the Nick figures from December 1st, although it wouldn't surprise me if they're out earlier than that. |

When did Thundercats toys come out last year?
They were due in Dec but showed up early. Wondering if TMNT will do the same. Is there a website for playmates UK? No mention of Turtles on the Flair site. Cheers, Doug |

Nope. They've never had a UK-specific site. The line's being distributed through Giochi Preziosi, although there's nothing TMNT-related on their website. There's a disturbing lack of info anywhere...

Nice price on the Classics but man the price for the Nick figures sucks. I got a set of the 4 Turtles for £46 off ebay and that included shipping from US to UK!
I'll get them in store as I want to support the line and I like to pick the best paint jobs, but really these should be £7.99 max. Ah we'll, at least I won't notice the price jump as much when UK retail stops getting the new figures and I have to switch to ebay. We made it to some of the early season 2 figures for 2K3 (if I remember right), I'm gonna be optimistic and say we might keep getting new figures until season 3 for the Nick show as I'm expecting the movie to give the line a boost between seasons 2 and 3 this time around. |

Would hope the line lasts long enough to see Metalhead over here at least, so worried that the line is going to follow in the footsteps of Thundercats tho... Cheers, Doug |

Yeah, the price kinda makes me wish I'd bought the full set off ebay, I think that might have actually worked out cheaper with one set I saw!
I kinda hoping that with us getting the line late we get the newer cases which include wave 1 and 1.5 straight away since the new figures aren't actually a new wave. Probably not but hopefully we'll at least get 1.5 before Christmas. I wouldn't worry about support. In the US it sounds like the line is doing very well and TMNT has had a much bigger marketing push both in the US and here than Thundercats could ever dream of (which is a shame because the show was awesome and deserved a second season). 2K3 was never big over here and the line still lasted about 2 years at retail and after the movie we got more figures than the US (though I never did find Shredder), so with the new movie planned to come out in 2014, between seasons 2 and 3, there should be plenty of retail support for the figures. |

I wonder if UK shops will be allowed to sell the toys outside the UK, or if I'm gonna have to wait forever until they decide to release them in Spain. But man, the pice for the Classic Line is really really good.

I pre ordered my set of nicks, was also kinda hoping they would be around £8 each. (maybe they will drop in price before release) and that is a good price for the classics, About what I paid for them, and got them early.

Hi,
Great news for all Uk'ers, TRU has the Nick toys and the Classics in! My local (Reading) had at least one of everything, aside from Splinter, Foot ninja and April basics. Plenty of Classics, picked up a Raph Was a nice surprise for a wet Monday Cheers, Doug |
