They honestly should have just left Cisco out. He doesn't even pretend to want to be here now (not that I blame him).

Saw the season finale. Yikes. A bunch of weird plots with Joe's old boss and her powers (??), Iris gets speed powers and her costume again, annnnd... it ends in a big lightsaber duel? Like, an actual lightsaber duel? Also, Impulse paints his nails.

Fairly nice last scene though. And that Flash-Iris daughter actress seems more happy to be there than anyone else on the show. They should've utilized her more. She is like early season Felicity on Arrow. Infectious, in a good way.

They jumped the man shark these last few seasons.... but this episode was the worst, except for the XS actress. Everyone seems to be phoning it in except her.

1.Cause people enjoy these shows you knob.

2. Flash was the second show of the Arrowverse so makes sense it should go 8 seasons.

3. Flash is one of CW's highest rated shows too.

(Even though S6-S7 sucked it was still the 3rd highest rated show on CW)

I’m watching season 7 for the first time and at episode 16….wondering why Iris wasn’t in that one plus the 2 before this one? Did the actress have COVID at the time or another reason for her absence? Not that it’s a big deal to me but just wondering why she’s not in those episodes

Man, hard to believe I started wavering on trying to keep up with this show sometime in the midst of Season 5. And now it's almost 2022, and I want nothing to do with the CW superhero shows.

Shows like this lasting over 8 seasons and nearly 200 episodes while other high quality shows get canceled after 2 or 3 years blows my mind. I know it’s the popularity of DC heroes themselves keeping the shows going but the quality takes a nosedive so fast

Well the CW shows were high quality but they started to lower in quality and they started to pump out too many in continuity spin-off shows that had constant crossovers. That's when they lost me, I needed to dedicated too many hours to keep up with the shows, the quality was worse and there were so many damn episodes it became overwhelming so I stopped and never returned.

A shame since likely it'll never happen again at least a shared superhero tv show universe full of shows and characters. The last seasons I watched from Arrow and flash were alright but not worth having to sit through 6 different 1 hour 22 episode season shows to get the entire story. That first season of Arrow and The Flash, man so fantastic, I think it's a case of too much of a good (+decaying in quality) is bad.

The first couple of seasons of Arrow were watchable. The Flash started strong and I was on board with Supergirl until the "I don't want to work for angry, old white men" line.

Then I dropped all of it. That line should go down in racist history as an example of the cultural zeitgeist. It's pathetic.
