Again, I like how we're treating these scumbags as a legit govt. They're not. They're terrorists and should be considered as such. Whatever happened to "we do not negotiate with terrorists?" That **** seemed to die off years ago.

There terrorists controlling the whole country, so not that different from North Korea or Russia or Turkey or China.
In politics, you need to deal with scumbags, even though Taliban is very very unpleasant type of scumbags. But Western weakness allowed them to become dominating force in their country and now they needed to be talked to. Another is to bomb them to oblivion, but I feel like no-one has guts or money for that, especially in the middle of pandemic, when politicians can make money on endless promises and prohibitions anyway. |
