Started playing it tonight. Very fluid controls. I love the precise aiming.
The bad: music is very unremarkable when it was always so strong and memorable in the earlier stuff. And also remember all those late 90s games, where you'd play for a while then the game would transition into some kind of FMV and then back? There's a lot of that in this. First impression is that this feels a little barebonesy.

Back then, it was all about demonstrating and promoting new video game technology. Similair to all those early 1990's Super NES games using the Mode 7 (as I mentioned in the Actraiser Renaissance thread).
