For those keeping score, the reddit leak from a few weeks or so ago said the following was happening

Spoiler:

1. Jodie would regenerate into David Tennant again
2. Tennant would reunite with Donna years after her mindwipe
3. Her husband and mother would turn up, she would have a daughter called Rose, the leaker wasn't certain Wilf would appear but he did
4. The story dealt with an alien invasion as the backdrop to the reunion, and UNIT would be involved with many major battles occurring

ALL of this has come true now.

Walt Disney Co. is in discussions with the British Broadcasting Corp. about acquiring the streaming rights to a new “Doctor Who” series.

The talks are in the early stages and there’s no guarantee a deal will be reached, according to people with knowledge of the matter who asked not to be identified because the discussions are private. The show would potentially air globally on the Disney+ streaming service. The BBC would also air the program.

The rumour is Jodie turns back into David Tennant first and he's The Doctor for most of 2023, then he turns into Nctui in the 60th anniversary.

I agree that what we know of the new Doctor so far is a bit of an eyeroll, but I'm still super excited that RTD is coming back and I trust he'll make it work. And RTD is gay, so this isn't particularly surprising.

Reputable TV insider sites are saying Power of the Doctor will air Sunday the 23rd of October, so about a month or so from Doctor Who's 59th anniversary, which is the 23rd of November.

Filming on Ncuti Gatwa's first series as The Doctor commences in December.

So the Doctor was straight for Rose/River etc. So attracted to women.

Regenerates into a woman and is still attracted to women (IMHO this Yas and the Doctor relationship has been poorly handled, it felt like it came out of nowhere during the last series, so two years of no build up). But it makes sense, I guess, because of the doctors previous sexual orientation.

Cast a gay as the Doctor, better make him gay now.

The "Timeless child" arc is quickly turning into the "Timeless gender arc"
