I reworked it as a novella and Oldmanwinters was going to do it, things came up (my mental breakdown), and the project was halted. I've got a new idea now and need an artist as Oldman had moved on, so I turned to you.

If you have something against untested writers, that's fine, I'll look elswhere, but I'd implore you to take a risk and work with me on this project, it'll be good for both of us.

You work is excellent and I'm going to bring it up on other fandoms I inhabit.
Oh what fun, it is to ride, in a two-horse Technodrome.

Part of me regrets we'll never get to see that story anymore (well I wouldnt go that far, you WILL see it eventually, it's just 90% of the story's changed since then)

Hey, people! Maybe you still hide big picture under spoiler?
I want accuracy in my theme.

Good 1987 TMNT cartoon fanfiction

All joking aside, I get your point. I've found a lot of fanfic for the FW 'Toon falls into uneccersary territory, like the authors want the show to grow up with them, rather than allowing the show to invite them to embrace the inner child of yesteryear.

I'm working on some fancomics right now (have been on-and-off since 2009) which will be trying to capture the tone and spirit of the old show while moving it forward a tad. I even asked Dasha for help...havent got a response yet though.
Do you know any real good fanfiction based on the 1987 TMNT cartoon?

I've got plans to make a series of OT-inspired fan comics. I've got scripts for a two-issue arc and then loose ideas for a "Turtles Forever" inspired follow-up. But who knows how far I'll get with that?

And I've been following Tony's progress on "Turtle Turncoat" for over a decade. He was doing his story when the TMNT fan-art content on the web was pretty sparse and primitive.

Is it that old? It must have started after the 2003 cartoon begun.

There are a lot of nice fanworks out there that hasn't been updated since 2004-2005 or something. Sadly.

I think Tony Day started his comic around 2001, since that's when I started reading it.

By the way, on the subject 1987 TMNT cartoon... I'm working in a team of comic-project, an idea which is 80% based on the old TV series.
There will be, and turtles and villains, graphics and full color.

That sounds fantastic! I might be interested in contributing some some comic strips or character "pin up" art if you are looking to recruit a few more volunteers.

Wow,just wow! I have played with fan-fiction ideas myself and always wanted to see a Shredder/Dregg duel! Very well done! The only version i know how to write for is the 1987 series. Its the most to play with and most interesting! Love to read it altogether once completed not to mention own a physical copy of it!

Here. The one I had in mind posting first since it was the first I did continues from where "Divide And Conquer" left off and it features the unique combination of Titanus and Tempestra.

We are just glad that you are going to the trouble of translating it! If the english is a little off it does not effect the awesomeness of it. We english speakers some times jumble up our own language far worse. Just have it end with Shredder slaying Dregg!
