Superman & Lois takes place on the same earth as Flash/Supergirl, they're just ignoring the other shows, for now... when has the show ever said they're a different earth? When Supes showed up in Supergirl, he was from that same earth.

the whole infinite earth thing was weird.

In the crossover, they showed some earths survived. yet in the show, they claim all other universes where eliminated. which is it?

They literally said on the last episode Superman is the only superhero on the planet.

Wrong. Sam confirmed Clark is the only hero on the planet, Kara doesn't exist here either. The producers also held an interview where they confirmed the show was no longer tied to the Arrowverse

Apparently this version of John Diggle isnt the one from 8 seasons of Arrow. Hes a different version that is from on the planet that Superman and Lois live on.

On the other hand, since they're not even bothering to have him be the same Superman who has been appearing in Supergirl and all of those CW events... why not just do a Brandon Routh Superman series? Way more people would've wanted to see that.

Hmmm... I wonder why he opted out? Maybe they did make the character gay this season, like the comics, and the actor wasn't down for that. Which was always going to happen, as soon as the comics did it.

Better to write the character out entirely, the one playing Jordan looks and acts more the part of Jon, plus he has the experience of dealing with bi-sexual characters already.

True. Though I've always suspected this was a bit of misdirection. Like, eventually something happens to Jordan and Jon gets his powers and they kind of swap roles.
