My family is having a party I think. At my house too. Whenever we have one something of mine gets broken.

I'm... working!! Yay! New Years Day, too.

But anyway... um, my grandparents come over the house every year, so they'll be over this year, too.

I'm working, too, from 12:30 to 9. I want to go to First Night afterward. It's a little outdoor/indoor event held on Grand Avenue and the California Center for the Arts. They have stages set up for live music, put up a few food booths and then there's fire works at midnight. I'm off the next day and plan to have fun even if it's freezing-ass cold out!

Last year I sat on my computer and listened to music. I remember I used to play Everquest for New Years. I'm a sad individual.

Getting drunk. Last year I had to work on New Years Eve, and at the stroke of midnight I was stocking a box of orange soda onto the shelf. Oh, how far I've come.

We usually go to the Camden water front where they hold fireworks every year. However, the real fun is watching inmates sign down to their girlfriends what brand of cigarettes they'd like during the next conjugal visit. Of course, Camden is the only place where they'd stick a maximum security prison next to an aquarium. Gotta love New Jersey.

Every year, my family has a HUGE bonfire and party. I don't think anyone over 18 is sober. Lots of family and friends (apparently the keg counts as a friend) It's a great time, but I'm not totally sure if i'll join in the fray this year.

I'm probably going to crawl around Mannheim or Frankfurt in hopes of stumbling across a worthwhile party, then catch an early morning train back home.

I will be TRYING to get drunk. I never seem to make it that far. No matter how much I drink I never get inebriated.

*squeals* I love New Year's!!! It's my favorite holiday of the year!

On December 31 I'll be going to a friend's house and a few friends and I will be playing games and listening to music.
Then we will go to a restaurant and eat alot of food and drink hot sake.

Later on, at around 11:00 pm, my friends and I will go down near the lake and meet and greet people there, and ring in the new year at 12:00 and recieve rice cakes.

All the people there take turns ringing the large bell untill we have all rung the bell 108 times together. It represense ridding your self of the 108 human greeds and starting the new year with a clean slate.

After that, my friends and I find a place or two to drink, laugh, and have a good time for the rest of the night.

Probably the same thing I do every year... sleep. But on Saturday I've made plans to go out with my friend.
