Mighty Mutanimals

I was wondering in Archie Comics when the Mutanimals were killed was that it for them or did they come back?

The Mutanimals were killed off but Future Don and Raph were able to avenge them and destroyed the hive world. However, Null is still out there.

If you would like, feel free to read my own Mutanimal fic, titled "Rescue From Dimension X"

Why didn't Future Don and Raph go back and save the Mutanimals from Null?

It's actually what they had been trying to do in the first place. According to Future Leonardo, it was originally Maligna herself who killed the Mutanimals. But somehow, the timeline had been horribly skewed, causing them to die much sooner.
