X-Men: The Return Of Apocalypse?!!

X-MEN #182 & #183
Written by PETER MILLIGAN
Pencils & Cover by SALVADOR LARROCA
THE BLOOD OF APOCALYPSE Parts 1 & 2 (of 5)!
When his people need him the most, he shall return! Lord Apocalypse is here to lead mutantkind into the future of the earth and only the strongest can survive! Plus, just wait until you see his new Horsemen!
Even we were surprised!
32 PGS. each/T+ SUGGESTED FOR TEENS AND UP ...$2.50 each

So what the heck was the point of "The Twelve?", or Cables' destiny? Or "Search For Cyclops?"

I'm close to strangling Marvel, "House Of M" blew chunks, I could care less for what there doing with Spidys' character, half of the X-Men are depowered (again), and even the one line saving this company, Ulitimate Marvel, are going to cross their characters over in some kind of stupid gimmick mini series involving Zombies.

...And now, they bring back Apocalypse...perfect.

Its' not one of Bendis' better storylines, his Daredevil run is great, but its' just emulating Frank Millers' tone of writing, Ultimate Spidy is still great, and I like the new liberties hes' taking pairing Pete up with Kitty Pryde

Marvels' long line of bad decisions with X-Men began either before or after "Search For Cyclops", I'm a fan of Morrisons' run, so they started right after "Here Comes Tommorow"

The fact that Marvel always brings back dead characters is one of the main reasons I haven't touched their stuff in 5 years.

Is it any wonder I drifted away from Marvel and into DC a few years ago?

I chose to follow Infinite Crisis over House of M and it looks like I made the right choice.

Bringing back Apocalypse? What more could they possibly do with him? Age of Apocalypse was pretty much the zenith of the character. I can't imagine them doing anything of interest with him after that.

Well, they've already brought back Magneto and Phoenix from death. I guess Apocalypse was only a matter of time.

I dunno, they might make it work. Who knows? Al *I* know is that the only X-Men title I read anymore, Astonishing X-Men, has been either delayed or cancelled and it's driving me crazy!

One is a villain that has been plaguing civilization since the time of the Pharaohs. The other is the deadliest vampire to ever walk the earth. It’s the battle to end all battles as Apocalypse confronts Dracula! Enemies since the Crusades, they’ve met again in 19th century London. It’s four issues of Victorian mayhem, and it starts here!
32 PGS./T+ SUGGESTED FOR TEENS AND UP ...$2.99
The worst part is, I'm looking forward to it.

Spengs, Astonishing is coming back in February, but it's gonna be bi-monthly.

The comic was always so late it felt like it. That's probably why they moved it to bi-monthly.

Marvel is notorious for recycling stories, just look at all the times Jean Grey's death and resurrection have been a central focus to the X-Men comics, or the fact Marvel won't let anyone stay dead -- they brought back Colossus!

I'm just waiting for them to bring back Spider-man's Uncle Bean as... oh, I don't know, maybe Green Goblin?
