I've been watching bits and pieces the last few weeks. I finally saw a TMNT commercial, so I think it really paid off.

But I agree, I won't be watching any of those shows unless maybe everything else is on a commercial.

A commercial? Was it about toys or cartoon?

The cartoon. It was very short. There was a TMNT shaped/colored blur, then a manhole cover on a street that was spinning like something had just slipped under it, then a TMNT head pops up under it, but you can only see the eyes. The theme song music is playing in the background and the cover says TMNT and February 8th on it.

I think it was on during the 10:00 to 10:30 time slot, the time the new show's gonna be played.

No, no clips from the show as far as I could tell. Looked cool, though.

So I haven't missed much... I hope we could get the encoder business cleared up so I could rest assured that I will see the new show...

heh.. yeah, I hppe the TMNT raises the quality of this for next year.

I've just seen Kirby and the Footons so faar though (since I don't get up until after 9:30). Kirby seems cute and do-able. I thought it was funny the last time I watched him, they had an episode about ninjas (the stereotypical black sneaky kind).

The Footons.. well, it's basically another version of pokemon, except they use creatures made of up of food (or types of asian cuisine). Cute, but the idea of strange mons battling each other is getting old in my book.

*trots off... still wondering how she missed the preview for the TMNT*

I watch the Fox Box mostly out of loyalty, and half because the other channels have nothing of interest to me. And the fact that the new Digimon show sucks compared to Tamers.

Stargate-hack off the moral lessons that work their way into every episode and you've got a decent cartoon.
Ultraman-it's basically Godzilla made for TV. How can you NOT dig?
Kirby-ok, so I'm a big fan of the games. The show is still pretty damn good.
Ultimate Muscle-a decade too late. Pass.
Fighting Foodons-Argh, this doesn't even try to HIDE the fact that it's a Pokémon ripoff. At least Digimon is distinguished enough to keep it from being some lame knockoff (althought the rest of the world refuses to see that).

My one true complaint about the channel is that they are forced to show THREE of their cartoons twice a day. Is it THAT hard to get some programming? Keep Kirby in his slots, go pick up some obscure Japanese anime people would be into and bring it over already. Or wait for an anime based on a Nintendo game to pop up and dub it(4Kids does have the contract for all that, don't ya know). Yeesh.

I agree with ya, tamers is better than frontier at least imo...is it showing in foxbox?I thought only abc kids would air it...that could mean they'll show it in fox kids in argentina aswell (well they did showed a trailer at the end of the last tamers episode)
Besides from digimon frontier i haven't seen any other foxbox shows, so i can't say...besides from digimon and tmnt 2003 i don't think i'd be interested in any of those other shows (maybe slightly interested in kirby, but that's it.)

No, Fox Box doesn't get Frontier. At the moment, both UPN and ABC (regular, not ABC Family) have it.
