I think the turtles are good, because they have a funny way of looking at big problems... They make everything seem small in a way and they don't take crap from any body... Boy these turtles sure do kick shell!!

I like them because there is something for everyone in them. You can go with the kiddie cartoon version, the original Mirage version, the darker and often weird Image version, the version you yourself create, etc. etc. etc.. As an added bonus each of the turtles have individual personalities. If Leonardo isn't your kind of guy, maybe Michaelangelo is!

And as a woman, hey...good lookingmuscular teenage boys... Heh heh heh... Whoops! There goes my gutter mind again!

I've always been a fan of the non-humans-in-a-human-world concept. There's a combination of action adventure and strong emotion and great comedy. Yeah, there's something for everybody.

And as a woman... Mmmmmmm... Gutter mind for four hot males who live in the SEWER. Feel the irony.

Yeah, the Turtles are good, but I think they are simply delicious sauteed with onions and garlic. (just kidding!)

I can't really remember what got me hooked on the TMNT, but I think it was becuase they were like teenagers who saw themselves as being vastly different from the rest of the world. They looked freakish, they couldn't live in a normal house or aprtment, they have to rely on their street smarts to get by, and they still stay true to good morals.

But I also liked the martial arts action and Splinter's Japanese teachings. It all so appeals to the 'tomboy' side of me. And uh, ditto on the studly thing.

Why i love the turtles...I could go on forever, but i'll try not to.

I have been a fan ever since i saw the first episode back in 1987. The bond that they had as both a team and a family really impressed me. Having three brothers, i know what its like in a full house. Having two older brothers that liked to fight, i also knew the tensions that could inhabit a home. It's kinda funny, My two oldest brothers always competed against one another, my third brother is really smart in medical stuff and some computers, and i'm the youngest, most emotional, and the family troublemaker.

Emotional support when times got bad was really important too. Whenever mike had problems, his brothers and father helped him get through it. That's the same way with me and my family.

Humor. Humor makes life good even during the hard times. 'Nuff said.

And Splinter. *hears Kali moan in background* Oh, shush!
The bond Splinter had with his sons is the most recent reason i love the TMNT. These days, its hard for kids to find a good role model to instill morals and values. Splinter is an excellent example. Whenever i have something bugging me, I always look to him and try to think of how he would handle the situation.

I could say more, but i dont want to bore you, so That is why I Love the Turtles.

What?!? I have nothing against Splinter! He's a great character, I wish I had him as a sensei.

We were staying more on topic than we usually do. What, Splinter's not included in your little question?

There not as bad as me when it comes to changing subjects... But the reason why I love the turtles is because I've always been into Martial arts and stuff. another reason is because of their personality's and stuff. I wish i had Splinter as a sensei too. he seems more loving than anyone in MY family.

Maybe. *smirk* Did you mean, why are they such good fighters or something?

Dat Burnit, im too slow!

I'm in Martial arts too. Shorin Ryu and some Jujitsu. The weird thing is, my sensei is JUST like Splinter. She knows more than anyone i've ever known. She's an incredible teacher.
