The Boys will be back!

http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=98812

Newsarama has learned that Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s Wildstorm series, The Boys has been cancelled by DC, effective with issue #6 of the series, which is currently on shelves. Issues #7-#10, as well as the trade collection – all of which have been solicited – will not ship.

You conveniently forgot to mention that they're already looking for new publishers. So this Doomsday-news isn't really Doomsday-news, but mainly a minor setback, seeing as how The Boys sells well and is thus a no-brainer. But I always thought that it was a bit odd for Wildstorm to have a series like that. Marvel MAX should pick it up if you ask me. The series was made for MAX.

Okay, Doomsday averted, The Boys will be back.

From Darick Robertson's message board, posted by Darick himself.

We've been flooded with great offers and will be deciding soon on the new home for 'the Boys'. We will be back and soon. Hopefully everyone will be there to welcome us back.

Just look at it as a hiatus. We're coming back and the gloves will be off.

We're still deciding on a publisher. We're hoping a return within this spring.
And here's another little announcement concerning the content:

Oh, you know it. Garth isn't kidding when he says "Believe me, what we've got coming up will make #1-6 look like a quiet evening on Sesame Street."

"Newsarama has learned that Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson's The Boys will resume publication shortly at Dynamite Entertainment"

Im not sure if this is a good thing as the only things Dynamite seems to put out is tv series/movies comics (Xena, BSG, and Highlander)...but hey..at least it's being put somewhere....even if it is Dynamite.....
