audio clips of the voice actors in action

http://www.ninjaturtles.com/cartoon/2003/sounds.htm

Don sounds fitting
Leo sounds gay
Mike sounds fitting
Raph sounds fitting
Splinter sounds fitting
April is kinda in the middle
Hun sounds bad @$$
Shredder sounds VERY bad @$$
Baxter sounds decent
Casey Jones sounds good too

All in all, they seem pretty good. I think Leo sounds gay though, and April and Baxter could use work. Shredder sound perfect though.

Time for ye old rundown:

Don-Sounds like a higher pitched version of Donny from the second movie. This is fine, cause I always preferred that Donny to the Corey Feldman one.

Leo-Simple, casual, it fits. Maybe I'm not the best judge: I never liked Leo to begin with.

Mikey-Already heard him on the Fox Box this morn. He sounds like a slightly older version of the original cartoon Mike. Very fitting, as always.

Raph-WEE! Sounds perfect, more akin to his film voice than the "Mighty Max" original. Indeed, all four turtles sound quite a bit like their movie counterparts... intentional?

Splinter-He sounds almost EXACTLY like the movie Splint. I guess they're trying to mimick that voice style because it's the closest we've gotten to a Mirage adaption previously? *shrug*

April-Well.. she doesn't sound like Ash, at any rate. Otherwise, yeah, it needs work. Perhaps further experience will give me a better idea.

Casey-Is that.... Kid Muscle? If so, he's doing a better job here than he is on Ultimate Muscle at any rate.

Shredder-Oooh yeah. Sounds almost like Megatron from Beast Wars. I think Karpo and all can finally stop worrying-we finally have a Shred that will meet the honour of the original Mirage one (who I really don't see all the jazz about, honestly)

Hun-Hmm. He sounds intelligent. I feared that he'd follow the "Bigger they are, dumber they are" theory that every cartoon in existance follows, but this seems to not be the case.

Baxter-*sigh* I'm going to miss the "buzz" in this guy's voice. Still, the voice fits the images we found, although it could use some work. I'm getting I'm too used to Mistah Fly (and you Mirage-happy people can NEVER take that away from me! BWAHAHAAHAHAHA!)

Leo sounds gay
He does not! I thought his voice was the best sounding out of the bunch. Yet I ask... Cam Clarke was gay, but did you think the same way too?

Jest kiddin'.. just kiddin. Don't start flaming up again, making more work for us mods...

Don- No problem with it.
Leo- He sounds a bit boring but not bad.
Mike- I don't know... sounds a bit funky.
Raph- I find his voice a bit too deep.
Splinter- Sounds kinda young.
April- Pikachu I choose you! Ok I'm kidding, she sounds PERFECT!
Hun- He's a new character so don't know. I have no problem with his voice though.
Shredder- Just like April it's PERFECT!
Baxter- I have no idea if I like the voice or not. I heard but I can't decide.
Casey Jones- I'm a little uncomfortable with his voice.

Does anybody remember the CG TMNT clip? I find the voices there a bit more enjoyable. Maybe because these new voices didn't come with a little movie. Oh and if anybody wants to download the clips from a faster site go to www.fogu.com that's where I got mine. The ones in the offical site takes too long to download.

Dude, I thought Corey Feldman was the better voice. Adam whatshisname from TMNT 2 sounded a bit too dorky and un-TMNT-ish.

And can you PLEASE put the "-Badabing" in your sig? It might make it more convenient for you since you won't have to type it in EVERY time you post...

But then I'd have that gaudish line right there, and that simply wouldn't do.

And on the subject on Donny: it depends on the system. Corey's portrayal was fine, but he really didn't suit the "techno-whiz" personality Don has. I can't picture Feldman saying ANY of Donny's lines in TMNT2 with any effect.

Donatello - okay. definitely sounds like a thinker.
Leonardo - pretty good. sounds a bit like the Leonardo of the first season
of the old toon. definitely an improvement over the
nasal-sounding Leonardo of the later seasons of the old toon.
Michelangelo - excellent! sounds casual and whimsical without sounding
like the brain-dead Michelangelo of the old toon.
Raphael - awful. sounds like a goon you'd meet in a dark alley.
Splinter - pretty good.
April - borderline dumb blonde.
CJ - would sound better if his voice were a little grittier--stronger in the
lower register.
Shredder - definitely sounds evil, but he doesn't sound like he's speaking
through a metal mask the way the old Shredder did.
Hun - ooh. sounds sinister.
Baxter - sounds like a scientist who's impressed with himself. when do we
get to hear the mad scientist voice?

I like Leo's voice. It's fitting for him, because it sounds like the voice a character would have if he's the one always calling the shots.

Donatello's voice is perfect!
Leonardo's is just fine!
Michaelangelo's is great!
Splinter's is ok.
April's is a very big improvement from the old toon.
I think Raphael and Casey Jones should switch voices with one another.
Shredder's voice is definitly cool!
Baxter's is pretty cornballish. He sounds like some dude in an infomercial.

I don't really want to say anything about Hun though considering he's a new character we haven't met before.

I think all the voices are great, considering that they're all out of context. I've heard most of them along with video clips on Fox Box, and they sound much better with visuals.

I agree, In the comercials it sounds as if the VAs have gotten into the characters more and are more relaxed.
