I bought Mirage #45 this weekend and want to get more. Does anyone have a favorite MirageTMNT comic that they would recommend? Thank you.

Well the first 10 issues are a must have, and I have herad that "City at war" (last 12 issues)is even better. But If you want the full story, check the continuity thread, those that we have listed there are part of the official continium.

I find that the earlier issues, like Karpo said, are a must have. The plot doesn't stray too far off, and they are not done by guest writers and the such. I'd check out Ebay or something like that to find them though.

I have a nice little comic shop that sells them for 3-4.00 each. It's a pretty good deal. Thanks for the recommendations everyone! I'll try to get the first 10+ this weekend.

Oh yeah.. I have quite a few Mirage recommendations!

The first 11 Mirage comics are a must, since they pretty much set the stage for all that is to come.

- Distractions (by Eric Talbot) 17
- Return to New York (19, 20, 21)
- The River (24, 25, 26)
- Sons of the Silent Age 28
- Souls (by Michael Zulli) 31, 35, 36
- Twilight of the Ring 37
- Juliet's Revege (Rick McCollum & Bill Anderson) 42
- Halls of Lost Legends (Paul Jenkins & A.C. Farley) 43
- The Violet Underground (Rick Arthur) 44
- Shades of Grey (48, 49)
- City at War

There's a good many done by Guest Artists - some who follow the Mirage story line and others that go way off on some funny parody. They are are interesting, but the ones I listed above are my top favs. This link here can also tell you better what they are all about.

They have listed only 49 issues, But I think there will be more when they have time to write them. I wonder why they haven't listed Tales of TMNT in there...

Thanks for the new additions, I'll be sure to pick up some this weekend. Speaking of comics, does anyone know when the new series is supposed to start?

Huh? You mean Volume 4? It started way back in December 2001. If you're talking about the Dreamwave comics, then I have no idea... It'll probably start sometime after the debut of the new cartoon.

My favourite

My favourite comics are: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures by Archie Comics.

I love them because the serie come from my favourite cartoon.

In Italy there isn't TMNT comics.

Publishers didn't never print them! Tragedy.

I'm searching to buy the complete serie in english...
