When you were little did this piss you off?

how about when you were little and you heard other kids talk about ninja turtles and they didnt know which turtle was which...they would get the mask color wrong and weapon. it would be like donatello is my fav he has he orange mask and daggers.... oh yeah kids used to call raphs sai's daggers...i could be mistaken but i never heard them referred to as daggers in the toon....was i an anal little bastard or did you guys get mad too?

I'm sure you were since that enfuriated me as well, and I was certainly anal. What really burns me up is meeting people near my age today who say they like Turtles, but couldn't even list all four. I've always been a stickler for detail (since I could speak even). I remember seeing Weird Science on HBO when it first came out. That left me puzzled for weeks because it all seemed so utterly pointless. So, tell me... am I more anal than you'll ever be?

This still angers me to this day especially with the new movie out and poser fans who know I'm a fan try to talk to me about NT. I can't stand when the boys get disrespected. Honestly, get the names right if you want to have a convo with me about them. And btw, they are not called NUMBCHUCKS!

Well, I wasn't a kid at the time, but I didn't know what sai were, when the first movie came out. I thought Raph was saying "scythe". I thought, what the-- he wasn't carrying a scythe...

My friends would always tease me and say Raphael was the worst turtle because he had "forks" for weapons.

It usually resulted in some sort of fighting/wrestling hybrid

I wasn't a little kid back then, I was in high school. I knew Raph's "forks" were sai, cause when first saw him I was immediatly drawn to him, even in his silly kiddie persona, so I looked up everything I could about sai.

What bugs me are people calling Raph, RALPH! UGH!!!!

It's funny because I never remember people saying things wrong about TMNT when I was little. But, I do remember hating that people called the Falconzord an eagle. It pissed me off so much.

I'm not sure if that's ever happened to me. Although when I left the theater yesterday after seeing the movie, I overheard someone during a conversation say something like "It took me a while to name all the Ninja Turtles", and he said some of their names, but I don't remember which ones.

You know what else ticked me off back in the day? Sai represented as knives. I had no idea if that's the way the actual weapons were designed, but that design seemed so impractical and rediculous, I figured it was just yet another example of producers trying to suggest that the target demographic (kids) were all too stupid to care about the details.

I knew Raph's weapons were sai and my friends did too. They were just jerks. I've never heard anyone call him Ralph but I'm sure it would annoy me.

I was also immediatly drawn to Raph when I first saw him.
