DARPA is real?!?!?

Not really, but I thought it was funny.

http://www.darpa.mil/grandchallenge/index.asp

For those too lazy to click the link, DARPA stands for Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.

Yeah DARPA is real, but how does that relate to TMNT?

Heheh... The New Urbanists are right about the military's involvement in our suburban communities -- streets must be ridiculously wide and navigable by tanks, riot proof so you have tons of collector roads (which, if blocked can isolate entire communities from the rest of civilization)... hence the absolute need for every person to drive a car to get somewhere, hence America's fierce dependence on oil.

Do ignore me unless you know what the hell I'm rambling about.

We're calling it a freeway. Eight lanes of shimmering cement running from here to Pasadena. Smooth, safe, fast. Traffic jams will be a thing of the past. I see a place where people get on and off the freeway. On and off, off and on all day, all night! Soon there will be a string of gas stations, inexpensive motels, restaurants that serve rapidly prepared food! Tire salons, automobile dealerships and wonderful, wonderful billboards reaching as far as the eye can see! My God... It'll be beautiful.

I'm just gonna nod, hold my fist up and shout "Represent!" and "Tell it like it is!"

And also smugly admit that I already knew hat little fact, knowing full well no one will care.

If DARPA is real (and I already knew this, so I guess that's another useless fact I possess) than does that make Louis Braunze real?

Dumb question, yeah, I know. So what?

Although I bet somebody somewhere in the CIA or NSA or whatever has worked on mind enhancement stuff like that in Volume 2.

Oddly enough, no, Louis Braunze isn't real. I even tried Louis Bronze. No luck
