New TMNT Custom Mikey Nunchakus

Hi, everyone! First time poster here! I finally decided to register after showing this over at He-Man.org today, seeing as you guys would probably get the most out of it.

But anyway, firstly I want to apoligize for the quality of the images. I had to use my webcam since I don't have my digi-cam anymore. But I cleaned them up as best I could.

But yeah, obviously what I did is remove the plastic chains from Mikeys nunchakus and replaces them with real metal chains. Anyway, enjoy!

Very cool. I don't have the patience to do that sort of thing.

Now all ya gotta do is paint the wraps orange.

Cool, I wish Playmates would use metal chains for Mikey nunchucks.

They look cool... but I don't have much time to spend customizing figures these days.

Well, I cant really help you unless you have the materials I have.

http://www.spencergifts.com/shop/pro...p?pid=00564211

I just happened to have that lamp. However, I didn't like the skulls and fingers dangling, so I took them off. They were connected with little chains with screws on the ends. Eye screws I think they're called. So I just unscrewed them. Then it was just a matter of removing a couple links of the chains so they're the right length, and then screwing them into the soft plastic handles after cutting the plastic chains off with an exacto blade.

Although I'm pretty sure you could get the proper materials at Home Depot or somewhere like that.
