Ok, so I finally figured out that there were two different TMNT/Savage Dragon Crossovers... not two covers for the sam book.

But looking over both, neither seems to be the place where Dragon meets the turtles... So what's the deal? Was there a third crossover I'm missing... did they meet in Savage Dragon #2?

Also, SD#22 had an appearance by the TMNT (which picks up or continues from the second crossover). This all occurs before Vol 3 #1, yes?

Anyone put this puzzle together? Or am I just dense?

There's three crossovers.

The first began in Savage Dragon #2 and continued/concluded in the first TMNT/Savage Dragon special published by Mirage. The second one began in Savage Dragon #22 and continued/concluded in the second TMNT/Savage Dragon special published by Mirage (or maybe this second one was the other way around... maybe it began in the special and concluded in Savage Dragon #22... can't remember now). The third crossover was in TMNT Vol. 3 #10 and #11.

For the record, when I met Erik around 2000 he admitted that he'd never read any Mirage TMNT comics.

Where's my surprise about that.

Oh yeah, I don't have any.

Thanks for setting me straight... so it all begins with SD #2... strange.
