New Power Rangers Is Just A Turtle Rip-Off

Anyone else notice this? I was flipping through the channels around 11:30 (Slept through TMNT). I landed on a show with ninjas. I started watching....watching....watching....And what did I notice? A lot of rip offs from Ninja Turtles and Star Wars.

The Hamster sensei... Hm, kinda like a Rat we all know and love.

The Hamster babbles on and on then says something "Then he turned a different leaf. To the DARK SIDE"......*Cough-Yoda?-cough*.....

The Ninja thing is kinda obvious....

Anyone else notice this?

not really. power rangers has always just been a cheesy pseudo-martial arts kid show.... that kinda crap, 'ninja' or not, has always been there.

Hey, Power Rangers had some cool toys though. I miss my Zords... I had them all up untill they went in to space and started to REALLY suck.

But yeah, now they do need to die. I haven't seen any of the new stuff for it, but I'm sure it just really dulled down. I woulden't mind seeing the Japanese version of the show though... with subtitles.

Can't find any pictures. Sorry. Aparently the hamster has the same story as Splinter. Sorta. Most like the old animated series story for Splinter. Was a human, changed into a rat-like animal.

If anyone cares

The Power Rangers were actually Ninjas before hand, too. Way back in the day, I think I was in 6th grade I had stopped watching it because without the DragonZord it sucked. Anyway, my point is when I was watching it the Rangers had obtained some odd pre-stage to Power Rangers. This Pre-stage was stereotypical ninja garb. Anyone else remember this?

hmmmm

'stereotypical ninja-like garb' does not mean 'ninja'.

Not sure about you guys but I hate this show also. I quit watching it back in 4th Grade. It so boring now they just use the word change too many times. I also found out that they cancel the Season 3 of SatAM Sonic the Hedgehog back in 1995. Now I know this show is bad to watch period.

The things kids watch these days.

I got into the habbit back in 1992 or 93' when I was little. I would like to thank my 2 year older cousin for getting me in the habbit. 2001 was when I revised my knowledge on TMNT. And today I'm a bigger fan than I was years ago. I have all 3 TMNT Movies, current Toon, and old school Toon on DVD.

Just because it has been discussed before doesn't mean he can't bring it up, I missed out on the other thread, so leave him be.
Yea I was thinking the same thing, I don't think power rangers are doing as good as the new tmnt though, hopefully it will wipe the power rangers out. TMNT = sold out at walmart
Power rangers = 4 rows of not touched figures, and then some.
Seriously one day i'll bring my camera in and take a picture of all the power rangers they just can't sell.
The toys were never as good as tmnt either, they always had screws in the back, and brittle plastic.
LONG LIVE PLAYMATES AND TMNT
DOWN WITH BANDAI AND PR!

Power Rangers killed off the TMNT last time (admittedly though, TMNT was at it's weakest...), so it'd be ironic for the new TMNT to kill off PR.
