Where did Metalhead Michaelangelo come from?

Where did this action figure, Metalhead Michaelangelo, come from? I have been led to think that Metalhead is to Michaelangleo, like Slash is to Leonardo, or Tokka is to Donatello (and no, to new TMNT fans, Tokka is not a bird). I'm just curious. Was Michaelangelo the model for the making of Metalhead, or Leonardo being the model for Slash's mutation, or Donatello being the inspiration for Tokka's mutation?

And, if anyone reads this. What are the names of the four "shadows" turtles from Tournament Fighters?

In Tournament Fighters? You mean the Genesis Version? Their names are Clone Leo, Clone Don, Clone Mike and Clone Raph... in fact, that's the name off all of the characters when you fight them, except Krang and Karai
(needs to finish making the TMNT game site)

Um, yes, I've never even heard of an action figure called Metalhead Michaelangelo. They made Metalheads for all the Turtles?

"Going down."
"Please face the front of the car."

Rocksteady and Bebop, from "April Foolish"

Nope, just Mikey. He came out around the same time as the Metallic Foot Soldier.

"Well, I'll be darned!" - Donatello, from "Once Upon a Time Machine"

Yes, Donatello, I was just thinking the exact same thing.

I guess Metalhead Michaelangelo was yet another one of the variations...ironic since that was the only MOC that i had from my own collection still.

oh god.. what the hell was up with this Kowabunga coins and each tmnt turning into an animal stuff?? All sounds like very desperate attempts to continue the toys for Playmates after the toon ended... thank goodness that the toon and TNM never incorporated any of thses ideas...

Actully the Warrior tmnt figures came out a bit later in the line then the Metallic Foot Soldier but it's not a big deal ^_^

it wasnt very desperate...the line was ending everyone knew it this was basicly the one of the last runs of figures most of the kowabunga collector coins came with a re-relesed figure making it worth buying them...well to tmnt collectors anyways...i actully happen to like warrior metalhead mike and chrome dome better then the old ones same goes for warrior robotic rocksteady......pluss the only places you could get these toys sold them for like 2.00 I think thats pretty damn cheap for action figures......
also the animal thing was from japan and playmates felt like bringing the toys here also....
